If you follow SciFi Vision on twitter, you may have noticed that lately we have had an increase in interviews and such. SciFi Vision has been steadily expanding as our opportunities continue to increase. What you may not know is that up until recently, almost all of what you see on this site has been put up by yours truly (regardless of who it's written by), and most interviews (almost all the Syfy ones anyway) are generally done by me. Thankfully the staff and contributors continue to grow and the help I have gotten has been immeasurable.

With growth comes change and over the next couple weeks I will be once again changing some of the layout of the site. I love the design but it's becoming a bit overcrowded and will become more so as we start to cover more and more.

This is also to make room for our new contributor/partner site that we are excited to have on board: John Keegan/Critical Myth, who will be posting reviews of all your favorite shows (more are coming). That does not mean, however, that we aren't still happy to take review submissions for the site! The more the merrier!

As the site expands, so must the staff. We are currently looking for volunteers to help with the site: from posting news and press releases, to transcribing, to yes at times even doing interviews. There's only so much one girl can handle! As the site continues to cover more genres besides science fiction, we are especially looking for people who are interested in those other areas. If you are interested in any position here at SciFi Vision, please use the form, found by the hiring box on the left. If you have a site and are interested in becoming an affiliate, please let us know that as well.

And of course if you are reading this and are part of one of the shows that we cover and would like to be featured on the site, we'd love to have you. We also will be soon be accepting items for review (ie besides network screeners).

This was an odd episode. After the credits rolled I looked back on it and considered it a pretty decent episode, one that certainly if it was in another series wouldn’t be really worth mentioning. But after realizing that it was the halfway point of the season, I got to be a bit more concerned. There was not any sense of urgency about the episode, and there hasn’t been really any sort of coherence in the narrative or in the development of the characters. So far it’s meant that the show has just been entertaining, if at times a bit farcical, but it’s nonetheless disappointing.

I viewed this episode as Will's fall from grace. He may have escaped grand jury indictment, but the show is not going to ignore every little last detail or its consequences. So Wendy Scott-Carr's last act for the SAO was to take the details of Will's client embezzlement to the bar association in a last-ditch effort to stick it to him by getting him disbarred.

This was a tricky episode for “Being Human”, because as much as it has set up a lot of important plot elements in the first half of the season, the job isn’t quite done.  There are a couple of items to cover with Josh and Aidan before the consequences can start piling up, and in the meantime, they had to find something for Sally to do.

The vocal competition The X Factor, which will be airing once again this fall on Fox, will soon be holding auditions for its second season. Auditions open Thursday March 1.

One thing that makes The X Factor unique from some of the other voice series on television, is that it is open to not only solo artists but also vocal groups, the only limit being one must be age twelve or older. This season is also different from last in that now artists with pre-existing contracts can audition as well. The winner will receive a $5 million recording contract with Sony Music.

The unscripted series has previously discovered artists such as last year's winner Melanie Amaro, as well as finalists Astro, Chris Rene, Josh Krajcik, and Marcus Crow, all of who have signed major deals with Sony Music.

Simon Cowell, who is responsible for the idea and format of the series, will return as judge, as well as songwriter and record producer L.A. Reid, who is also the co-founder of LaFace Records.

Yesterday Cowell and Reid talked to the digital media about the upcoming auditions as well as the second season.

This week started with part four of the blind auditions on NBC's singing competition The Voice. During the auditions Adam Levine added three to his team: Sharon Mathai, Karla Davis, and Nicolle Galyon, while Blake Shelton added four to his: Naia Kete, ALyX, Charlotte Sometimes, and Jordan Rager.

The group of contestants recently talked to the digital media about their experiences and making it on The Voice.

Monday marked the beginning of part four of the blind auditions of NBC's The Voice.This week seven new contestants were added to the competition. Christina Aguilera added Jonathas, Ashley De La Rosa, Anthony Evans, and Monique Benabou to her team, and Cee Lo added Jamie Lono, Justin Hopkins, and Tony Vincent to his.

Recently these new members discussed their journey thus far on The Voice to the digital media.

Psych, which follows the crazy antics of fake psychic Shawn (James Roday) and his best friend Gus (Dulé Hill), will be returning to continue it's six season with all new episodes, starting on Leap Year Day, Wednesday, February 29th, with "Indiana Shawn and the Temple of the Kinda Crappy, Rusty Old Dagger."

Desperaux (guest star Cary Elwes) returns in the Indiana Jones-fueled episode, which also guest stars John Rhys Davies. The season boasts many more great guest stars, including Cheech Marin, Mekhi Pfeifer, Jaleel White, Mädchen Amick, Lou Gossett, Jr., Sara Rue, The Miz, Greg Grunberg, Lindsay Sloane, Glenne Headly, Ivana Milicevic, Rob Estes, Lolita Davidovich and Max Gall.

The series will also be returning again for a seventh season.

The two stars of the series sat down to discuss the upcoming season, pop culture references, Gus nicknames, and everything in between.

Part three of the blind auditions started this Monday on The Voice on NBC. During auditions this week Adam Levine chose four new members for his team: Chris Cauley, Katrina Parker, Nathan Parrett, and Pip. Christina Aguilera, however, added only two more to hers: Moses Stone and Geoff McBride.
