Recently the third and final season of Locke & Key premiered on Netflix and star Aaron Ashmore, who plays Duncan, spoke with SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview.

This season is lighter for Duncan. “He's planning his wedding,” he explained to SciFi Vision. “He's going to get married. At this point, I think, in the story, everything sort of settled down, and Tyler (Connor Jessup) is off kind of finding himself, but things have settled down and life is moving on. I think Duncan's very happy to have Brian (Milton Barnes) back and very happy to be getting married after all the craziness that happened in season two.”

Ashmore also talked about what he himself got out of working on the series. “Much like a lot of the other shows that I really enjoyed working on, I love the family element to it,” said the actor. “Obviously, there is literally a family with the Lockes, but also all of the other characters, how they all band together…how everybody sort of works together in this common goal…The shows that I work on and things that I like, that's usually what it comes down to are these amazing [characters] working together, but also the people that sort of bring it all together. That's what I would say I enjoyed the most out of it.”

The Sandman, based on the comics series written by Neil Gaiman, recently premiered on Netflix and follows the Sandman (Tom Sturridge), aka Dream, who rules over the realm of Dreaming.  After being captured for a century, both his realm and the real world become damaged, and he must go on a quest to recover what was stolen from him and mend both worlds. During his quest he meets Rose Walker (Vanesu Samunyai), who has a connection to him that neither of them can escape.

John Cameron Mitchell plays the part of Hal Carter, the drag queen who dreams of being a star on Broadway, but currently runs a B&B, which is where he meets and mentors Rose. Mitchell recently talked to SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview about working on the series.

The actor had actually worked with Gaiman before becoming involved with the series. “Neil and I are friends,” said Mitchell, “and I adapted one of his stories for film, How to Talk to Girls at Parties, so [Hal] was a kind of instant offer, which was very nice to have.”

Mitchell said that he is excited to watch full series and talk to Gaiman about it. “I really had a blast…I haven't talked to Neil yet, because I just want to wait until I finish it, but he must be very proud, because he's had a lot of things adapted of his work, and…this one he had a lot of control over, and I think he would be very happy.”

Collide is a brand new movie that was just released, and it is already causing a lot of buzz. With huge names such as Jim Gaffigan and Drea de Matteo, the acting is top notch, and the story leaves viewers on the edge of their seats wanting more.

De Matteo, who plays Gaffigan’s wife in the movie, takes on quite a different role than we are used to seeing her in, and does amazing.

“I am somewhat of his antagonist to a degree,” she said in our recent interview. “My character's going through her own set of circumstances, but because of my midlife crisis, and my selfishness, I hurt the person that is the closest to me.”

The film Fall from Lionsgate, which was recently released in theaters,tells the story of best friends Becky (Grace Caroline Currey) and Hunter (Virginia Gardner) who are stranded after climbing to the top of an abandoned two-thousand-foot radio tower.

The idea for the film, according to director and co-writer Scott Mann, who spoke to SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview, came from a fear of heights. “Myself and cowriter Johnathan [Frank] were actually on a shoot on top of a football (ie soccer) stadium of all places for a film we were shooting in London,” said the director, referencing his film that is now on Netflix, Final Score. “I remember, we were just aware of being on this small space at a real height with a sheer drop, and just the kind of fear of that, and how there's something in that more than just a gag or a stunt. I mean, it felt like there was more to be had, with this fear of heights or fear of falling thing…I do think there is an inner kind of fear in all of us about height. It's a very universal fear that we have. So, it was trying to use that as the core of the whole film and build a whole film around it and really use that to its maximum kind of different tones, the different palette of fun you could have. So, that was what it started at. I guess that and the combination of wanting to do something that really used film theater for what it's supposed to be used for and really kind of stand out in that environment and immerse you in that environment. So, that kind of fed through it too.” Mann added that they wanted the experience to feel more like a theme park ride.

Recently, Netflix premiered the highly-anticipated series The Sandman, based on the comics written by Neil Gaiman of the same name. The series follows the Sandman, aka Dream, who rules the Dreaming realm. When Dream is captured for a century, it not only affects his world, but the waking world as well. Dream must go on a quest to return what was stolen from him and repair the two worlds.

While visiting with his sister, Death (Kirby Howell-Baptiste), in 1389, they overhear a man in the tavern, Hob Gadling (Ferdinand Kingsley), declare that he will never die, because he chooses not to. Intrigued, Death grants him immortality. Dream tells Hob to meet him in one hundred years. Every century the two men meet in a pub to discuss what Hob continues to live for.

Kingsley recently talked to SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview about his time working on the series.

The actor was already familiar with the comic series when he took on the role. “I've got an older brother who is a huge fan, was a huge Sandman fan when he was a teenager, when we were growing up. He's six years older than me, so from when I was about nine or ten onwards, it was sort of always around,” Kingsley told the site.

The third and final season of the hit series Locke & Key, based on the comic book series of the same name by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez, recently premiered on Netflix. At the end of season two, Eden brought back Captain Frederick Gideon using the Echo Key. In season three, the Locke family must not only stop Gideon from taking the keys but deal with an old foe. Recently, Connor Jessup, who stars as Tyler Locke, spoke with SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview.

At the end of season two, aging out of magic, due to grief over the death of his girlfriend, Tyler made the choice to not use the Memory Key, knowing he would forget magic. “He just wants to in every way, emotionally, mentally, [and] physically, get away,” Jessup told SciFi Vision. “Season three, there's a bit of a time jump, and we meet him in Wisconsin, and he doesn't remember magic at all. So, he's totally separate from his family, and even when he’s reunited with them, he can't remember anything that they've been through together in the last couple years. So, he's on the outside, and he's confused. He doesn't understand what they're going through and what's going on, and why it seems like something is wrong.”

Created by Stephen Merchant and Elgin James, Friday, Prime Video released season two of the crime thriller comedy series from the UK, The Outlaws. The series follows seven strangers working off a community service sentence in Bristol. The group discovered a bag of money in season one, and in season two they must work together to outwit a drug dealer after they are threatened.

Gamba Cole plays the role of Ben Eastfield. The actor recently talked to SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview and teased a bit about where Ben is at this season. “Season two for [Ben] is about the discovery of himself and his dreams, [and] what he wants to do and never really got the opportunity to,” explained the actor, “because he was so fixated on looking after Esme (Aiyana Goodfellow) and making sure that she had opportunities and that she was able to do more than he was, but for him, now, he's allowed to be a little bit selfish, in a way, and he really wants to include Rani (Rhianne Barreto) in that.”

There television series Moonhaven takes place in the future and follows cargo pilot and smuggler Bella Sway (Emma McDonald) after she is stranded on the moon after being accused of murder. She, along with the help of Detective Paul Sarno (Dominic Monaghan) and his partner Arlo Noon (Kadeem Hardison), must not only clear her name, but also help stop a conspiracy surrounding the artificial intelligence IO, tech that is supposed be used to save her home planet of Earth.

Ayelet Zurer plays the role of Maite Voss, the political leader in the seemingly utopian Moonhaven. “She is a very unique character, because she's built from opposites,” said the actress about Maite during a recent interview with SciFi Vision. “She's wise, but she's naive. She's meticulous, but she's also intuitive, and she goes with her emotions and her instincts. She's spiritual, but she's grounded.”

An all-new episode of Moonhaven premieres today on AMC+. The series takes place in the future and follows Bella Sway (Emma McDonald), a cargo pilot and smuggler, who arrives in the lunar community of Moonhaven and is accused of murder and marooned on the moon. While there, she meets Detective Paul Sarno, played by Dominic Monaghan, and together they work to clear her name but also uncover a conspiracy surrounding the artificial intelligence that is said to be Earth’s savior.

Because of the way that everyone in Moonhaven has been brought up in the utopian community with the artificial intelligence running everything, Detective Sarno really hadn’t had to do regular police work before Bella arrived. “[H]is level of detective work on the moon is kind of helping old ladies across the street, that kind of community leader,” Monaghan explained to SciFi Vision during a recent interview. “Then, some very serious crimes and murders start to occur on the moon. So, you watch a guy kind of being a police officer for the first time and adopting a very idealistic kind of positive outlook on life and realizing that maybe everything is not entirely what he thinks it seems to be.”

It’s really interacting with Bella that changes his outlook on life when he realizes that things may not be what he thought they were. “I think Mooners, and certainly, Paul, [are] quite naive about humans,” said Monaghan. “He thinks that humans can be taken [at] face value, that they don't lie, that they're nice people at their core, that everybody wants to help everyone else, and that's what being a human means. I think [Bella] kind of reminds him that, that's not how it works on Earth and that people are out to get theirs and that people can be destructive and unkind for no particular reason, and you have to be a little bit more wily, let's say, if you're a detective trying to solve a set of very serious crimes on the moon. So, I think it's a learning experience for him.”

Moonhaven, which airs Thursdays on AMC+, takes place in the future and follows Bella Sway (Emma McDonald), a lunar pilot and smuggler, who after arriving on the moon in the idyllic town of Moonhaven, is accused of murder. Bella must work to clear her name while also trying to uncover the conspiracy surrounding the artificial intelligence that is Earth’s last hope.

The series is such a unique show. It was really the rich story that solidified Kadeem Hardison, who plays Detective Arlo, wanting to play the role. “Peter Ocko, our showrunner and creator, wrote an incredible script,” the actor told SciFi Vision. “Just the culture that we are living on in the moon, and to know that I'm third generation mooner…It was an easy choice for me to really go after this with both hands.”
