Note from the editor: I have included interviews under exclusive if they are private or one-on-one or in person interviews. These were not part of press conference calls or group discussions. These are exclusives that are currently published here at SciFi Vision or as part of one of SciFi Vision's own podcasts, or in some early cases at Media Blvd. Magazine.

I also have chosen to include some interviews from press events that are only open to a select few and not the general press or public, such as convention press rooms and everything from the Syfy Digital Press Tours, set tours, etc. as although they are not entirely exclusive, they do contain exclusive photos and sometimes videos that no other site has (I have started to mark some of these as "Spotlight" as opposed to "Exclusive, but they still remain in this category"), or may be about my own experiences only at the events. Note that in a few specific cases, the set tours were exclusive and specifically for SciFi Vision.

All of the articles unless otherwise noted were written by me, Jamie Ruby, and are copyright © 2017 Sci-Fi Vision. If you would like to post an article on your own site, please let us know first. Please do not use any of the exclusive photos or videos on your own site without permission (it will usually be given). Video Interview: Brian Tee & Steven Weber Talk Chicago Med

Chicago MedAn all-new episode of Chicago Med airs tonight on NBC. The series, which is a spinoff of Chicago Fire, follows the doctors, nurses, and staff who work at the Gaffney Chicago Medical Center Emergency Department.

Brian Tee, who plays the current Head of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Ethan Choi, and Steven Weber, who plays Dr. Dean Archer from the Emergency Department, recently talked to journalists during a junket promoting the show.

Be sure to check out our portion of the video interview below.

Weber told SciFi Vision who he’d like to get to work with on the series. “I'm desperate to work with Epatha, S. Epatha Merkerson, who I've loved since Jacob's Ladder…She had a small role in that intense movie, Jacob's Ladder. I'm gonna embarrass myself, but when I saw her, I was like, “Oh, whoa!” Then, I think over the years, we sort of met a little bit? My brain is addled. But I'd would love to work with her.”

Regardless, he is grateful for who he has worked with and has enjoyed it. “Listen, everybody on the show is wonderful…I'm enjoying working with with Brian. I have some upcoming stuff with Ollie (Oliver Platt). I enjoyed working with Yaya (DaCosta) and Dominic (Rains) and Torrey (DeVitto). It's kind of ridiculous; there's a wealth of really cool, creative people. So, whoever they put me with, I'm happy. I'm just basically grateful to be working. I mean, let's say it right out.”

Video Interview: More from Debris' Scroobius Pip and Norbert Leo Butz

Scroobius Pip and Nobert Leo ButzDebris, which airs Mondays on NBC, follows CIA Agent Bryan Beneventi (Jonathan Tucker) and MI6 Agent Finola Jones (Rian Steele) who work as partners at Orbital, a coalition formed between the two agencies to recover and study the effects of fallen debris from an alien spaceship. Norbert Leo Butz plays the part of Craig Maddox, Bryan’s handler at the CIA, and Scroobius Pip plays the part of the mysterious man working for Influx, Anson Ash. So far, not much is known about either character.

Recently Leo Butz and Pip talked to journalists during a junket about working on the series and teased a bit about their mysterious characters.

Be sure to check out our portion of the video interview below.

We still don’t know much about the group that Pip’s character is part of, Influx. The actor talked a bit to SciFi Vision about the mysterious group and their connection to Finola's father, George Jones. “There's basically a lot to learn. I think we've already teased, as Craig and the team are finding out, Influx [is] bigger than they may have appeared at first. It's not just a few guys in dark tones and moody facial hair. There's a lot more going on. There's a lot more going on behind the scenes.

“And the mystery is what the involvement is with Finola's dad, George Jones, and if it is George Jones. Obviously, the debris can do a lot of things. If there was a piece of debris that could reanimate the person who knows more about debris than anyone else in the world, I'd imagine Influx would be interested in that. Equally, if there was some way of faking a death, I'm sure they'd be interested in that. So, there's a lot to figure out in that world, but, yeah, we're very closely connected.”

Ventimiglia talked to SciFi Vision about his inspiration for Jack. “[It was] two people very close to me: my father and a kid I grew up with who still remains one of my closest friends, my buddy Aaron. He's a dad, and he just reminds me of the dad that's always chasing time with his kids. My father was very much like that, and when I play Jack with the twelve-year-olds, I remember back to my dad coming and going from work in a tie, showing up to sporting events, really doing his best as a father to make sure he was giving us what we needed to hear, to grow and to hopefully be good people. But beyond that, I know, my dad, there were moments where it's like I personally just didn't want to disappoint him, because he was such a larger than life character to me. Then, I see the same thing with my friend Aaron, with the way he raises his kids, and he just wants time with his kids, which I know is a huge thing for Jack. It's all he's ever wanted.
