Olmundson & Lawson - "Psych:" 100 Episodes & Counting

Psych is finally ready to air it's Clue inspired episode, which is also its 100th. To celebrate, USA Network is letting fans choose who the killer is in the episode: the butler, the author, the manager, the groupie, or the host.
In preparation, stars Timothy Olmundson, who plays Carlton Lassier, and Maggie Lawson, who plays Juliet O'Hara, talked to the media recently about the landmark episode as well as what else is coming this season.

From director Antoine Fuqua (Training Day), comes the new action thriller, Olympus Has Fallen, which stars Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, and Morgan Freeman, which opens nationwide tomorrow. In preparation, Malana Lea, who plays the villain in the film, talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview.
Lea talked about the film and her role. "Olympus Has Fallen is an action movie about a disgraced secret service agent (Gerard Butler) who tries to save the president (Aaron Eckhart) in the midst of a terrorist attack on the White House. I play "Lim" - she's a commando/computer hacker terrorist."
The actress did not have a hard time getting the part. "I worked for the production company in the past; they called me in to read for this part, and the rest is history."

Supernatural 8.17 Review: “Goodbye Stranger”

There are few things an episode of Supernatural can bring to the table above and beyond Castiel and Crowley to make it worthwhile. Adding Meg to the equation is one of them. Meg is one of the oldest villains of the series, and Rachel Miner has definitely made the role her own. Her snarky line delivery couldn’t be more perfect, especially since it has to counterbalance one of the most grueling situations yet.

The title of the episode doesn’t leave much to the imagination, so it’s on the writers to make sure that events have the necessary impact to overcome assumptions. For the most part, I think the writers did exactly what they needed to do. Helena has fallen into some dark territory, and this latest encounter with Oliver may be the first step in getting a new perspective. The fallout, however, is more substantial than I was expecting, even if it makes sense in the long run.

The Good Wife is on a network where the procedural mystery is its bread and butter. So there shouldn’t be any surprise when even a show built around a legal framework plays out a mystery from time to time. I do have to admit that I was sucked into solving the mystery for a few brief moments, but in the end, the resolution was so simple that it undercut the more insidious theory I had in my head as the episode was playing. That’s not to say that it really mattered. In the long run with this show, the Case of the Week’s resolution matters very little (unless it’s a long-term thing like the Lemond Bishop case).

The beginning of the season was focused on relationship issues and Bo’s slow but steady loss of control. The middle of the season has been about Bo’s rite of passage as a fae, and how oddly quick the timing has been. After experimenting with an extremely stand-alone episode, Person of Interest goes “All In” with a more familiar stand-alone offering. The supporting cast comes back into play, notably Leon Tao’s latest appearance as a Number. His smug self-assurance that Reese would show up in time, Bear finally getting taken off the leash, not to mention actual Nigerian scammers and pink-haired (eye) Candi, makes for a very entertaining opening.

This is a bit of a transitional episode, dealing with the fallout of some of the revelations of the previous installment, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t big moment along the way. “Mors Indecepta”, or loosely translated, “one cannot hide from death”. Given that this is Spartacus: War of the Damned, it’s the equivalent of doubling down on the titular promise. And this episode has one of the highest body counts yet, as Crassus comes very close to putting an end to the rebellion once and for all. Forcing Spartacus and his allies up against a wall in a blizzard proves to be an effective way to get them to beat themselves.
