More Emmy Coverage

As it moves closer to the Primetime Emmy Awards tonight, here are a few more things to get you started:

First, you can be on the Emmys tonight! During the entire show your tweets could get on if they are exciting/engaging enough – so watch AND tweet. Tweets can be made through Twitter just using the #imontheemmys or at http://www.nbc.com/emmys/imontheemmys/.

As photos and videos come in I will posting the best ones here.

Backtage at the Emmys: Throughout the show, starting at 5 PM PT/8 PM ET, NBC will be posting backstage videos where you catch candid moments during the show, reactions and post acceptance speech interviews and continuations. I will link to these as I get them.

We will also be streaming live coverage from the red carpet (starting at 4pm PT/ 7pm ET) from NBC, so stay tuned.

And of course we will be updating you with the winners tonight!

Emmy Coverage

Tonight we will be working hard to bring you coverage from the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards. This is new for Sci-Fi Vision; however, so please bare with us. We will be streaming live coverage from the red carpet (starting at 4pm PT/ 7pm ET) from NBC, as well as giving you updates on the winners and behind the scenes activities at the event. We will also be posting photos as they are released as well as links to other great stuff.

Lindsay Wagner - The Doctor is In

Lindsay Wagner has been in the entertainment industry for almost forty years. She is probably best known for her role as Jaime Sommers in The Six Million Dollar Man and then of course The Bionic Woman. She has also appeared in numerous other television shows and worked alongside Sylvester Stallone in the movie Nighthawks.

This Tuesday, August 17th, Wagner will guest star on Warehouse 13 as Dr. Vanessa Calder, the in-house warehouse doctor who treats not only the warehouse team but also the secretive group known as The Regents.

Lindsay Wagner talked to media journalists, including Sci-Fi Vision and Media Blvd, about her upcoming appearance on Warehouse 13.

Jasika Nicole on Her Role in 'Fringe'

Fringe is a show about the strange and unusual things that happen, and cannot be solved or understood by normal means, but by fringe science. These include things like mind control and pyrokinesis. The show follows FBI Agent Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv) and her consultant Peter Bishop (Joshua Jackson). They are joined by Peter’s father Walter Bishop (John Noble) and his assistant Astrid Farnsworth, played by Jasika Nicole.

Besides playing the FBI agent, Nicole has also appeared in such shows as Law & Order: Criminal Intent and the recent comedy She’s Out of My League.

Nicole recently took part in an exclusive interview with Jamie Ruby of MediaBlvd.

Eric Balfour Talks About His Character's Fate on 'Haven'

Eric Balfour, who first began his career at the age of fifteen, has appeared in such films as What Women Want, the 2003 remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and recently the Syfy movie Dinoshark. He has also appeared on popular television series such as HBO’s Six Feet Under, where he was a series regular, NBC’s Conviction, in which he had a starring role, and 24 on Fox.

Balfour is currently working on the science fiction thriller Skyline, and can be seen weekly on Syfy’s Haven.

On Haven¸ based on Stephen King’s The Colorado Kid, Balfour plays the role of Duke Crocker.

Balfour sat down to talk to media journalists, including Sci-Fi Vision and Media Blvd, about his life and his character’s fate after this week’s episode of Haven, where Duke is at the center of the town’s mystery.

The Stars and Creators of SyFy's New Series 'Haven'

The new series of Haven will be joining the Syfy lineup this Friday. The new show, created by Sam Ernst and Jim Dunn, is based on Stephen King’s The Colorado Kid. Ernst and Dunn, who previously worked together on King’s Dead Zone, also serve as executive producers on the show and together penned the pilot.

Emily Rose, who is probably best known for her roles on television’s Jericho and ER, plays FBI agent Audrey Parker, who arrives in the town of Haven, Maine to solve a murder. The town, however, is not as expected and turns out to be the center of a group of people with supernatural abilities. Lucas Bryant, who has appeared in shows such as Queer as Folk and Dollhouse, plays the local cop Nathan Wuornos, who later becomes Parker’s partner.

Ernst, Dunn, Rose, and Bryant recently spoke in a press conference with the online media about the new series on Syfy.

Colin Ferguson and Jaime Paglia Discuss the Changes to Eureka for the New Season

One of Syfy’s most watched series, Eureka, returns for its fourth season this Friday, July 9th. The series, created by Jaime Paglia and Bruce Miller, who also serve as executive producers, is about the town of Eureka, which from the outside may seem like any other small Pacific Northwest town, but is anything but. The town is made up of geniuses who work on top-secret government projects that often create mayhem around the town. The series follows Sheriff Jack Carter, played by Colin Ferguson, as he tries to keep the town in order.

'Dinocroc vs Supergator' From Roger & Julie Corman

MediaBlvd recently participated along with Monsters & Critics, SciFi Pulse, and other online media in a call with Roger and Julie Corman to talk about this weekend’s Dinocroc vs. Supergator, and other aquatic creature features that the couple has made and has upcoming.

Roger Corman’s career spans over fifty years. He has produced a massive 389 films and directed 56, and still counting. He’s known for movies such as the original version of Little Shop of Horrors, Ultraviolet, Supergator, Death Race, and more recently Syfy’s Dinocroc and Dinoshark. Corman, who received an honorary Oscar this year, has also been attributed to starting many young filmmakers on their career paths such as Francis Ford Coppola, Martin Scorsese, James Cameron, and Ron Howard. Julie Corman, wife of Roger, has also produced a number of movies, many that her husband worked on as well, including Splatter and Dinoshark.
