Alphas returns tonight with all new episodes on Syfy. The series follows a group of people who discover they have unique superhuman abilities. Together they work with Doctor Lee Rosen (David Strathairn) and the government to help solve cases and stop many of the criminal Alphas hiding within the population, including the group Red Flag.
At the end of last season, Rosen exposed the existence of Alphas to the public. The government attempted to create a cover up by imprisoning him, while they continued to operate Bighamton, a prison for uncontrollable Alphas, the way they chose.
This season, one of the Alphas, Gary Bell, played by Ryan Cartwright, an autistic who can see electronic waves, has been unfairly imprisoned and it's up to the other Alphas to rescue him as well as Rosen and reunite the team.
Season two of Alphas premieres tonight on Syfy.
