The animated Apple TV+ series, The Sisters Grimm, follows two young orphan sisters, Sabrina (Ariel Winter) and Daphne Grimm (Leah Newman), descendants of the legendary Brothers Grimm, as they arrive in the mysterious town of Ferryport Landing to live with their estranged grandmother, Relda (Laraine Newman), after the sudden disappearance of their parents. Here, they are thrust into a fantasy-filled adventure where the sisters discover that fairy tale beings inhabit the enchanted town. Among notable characters in Ferryport Landing is the mayor of the town, Prince Charming, voiced by Abubakar Salim.

Recently, Salim spoke with SciFi Vision about working on the series, which is available to stream on Apple TV+.

In this week’s episode of Tulsa King, which premiered today on Paramount+, Cole Dunmire (Beau Knapp) tries to gain his father Jeremiah (Robert Patrick)’s approval after having stolen the fifty-year-old bourbon from Dwight Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone) in the previous episode, but it doesn’t gain him the recognition that he craves. Meanwhile, Manfredi’s crew comes up with a plan to get the bourbon back from the family after Tyson (Jay Will) realizes he was played by the stripper (H. Lynn Pai) and follows her to catch them unloading the Fifty. Holding Cole at gunpoint, Dwight trades Jeremiah his son’s life for the Fifty.

In the season finale of Outlander: Blood of My Blood, Ellen (Harriet Slater) prepares to marry Malcolm Grant (Jhon Lumsden) until she discovers that her brother Colum (Seamus McLean Ross) lied and sent someone to kill Brian (Jamie Roy). The betrayal causes her to break her own promise to him and escape with her beloved. In order to secure the clan alliance promised by the wedding between the MacKenzies and Grants, Ellen’s brother, Dougal (Sam Retford), marries Malcolm’s sister, Maura (Bobby Rainsbury), instead.

Devin Sidell stars as the title character in Love, Danielle, which is now available on VOD platforms and DVDs. The first scripted feature film that explores what it is like for someone living with a BRCA gene mutation before receiving a diagnosis of cancer. Based on Sidell’s story, the movie tackles the difficult emotional issues, medical decisions, and family disruption that is involved after such a revelation and the courage of facing it.

The film also stars Jaime King as Danielle’s sister, Amy, Michael Roark as her husband, Pat, Lesley Ann Warren and Barry Bostwick as her parents, and Raymond Cruz as Stan.

In the season finale of Outlander: Blood of My Blood, which premiered today on Starz, Julia (Hermione Corfield) and Henry (Jeremy Irvine) are finally reunited and flee towards the Stones at Craigh na Dun, hoping to escape pursuit by both the Grants and Lord Lovat (Tony Curran) and change their fates. In a pivotal moment at the stones, unsure whether baby William can time travel, Julia urges Henry to go through the portal first, knowing she can still be safe with Lovat for the time being if all three of them do not cross. However, in the final moments, Henry grabs her hand and places it on the stones, leaving their fates uncertain until season two.

In The Last Frontier, when a prison transport plane crashes in the remote wilderness of Alaska and dozens of violent inmates are suddenly set free, everything is turned upside-down for US Marshal Frank Remnick (Jason Clarke), who is tasked with bringing them back and keeping the town safe. Fearing for Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy)’s safety, Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) prepared for her wedding to Malcolm Grant (Jhon Lumsden), only to discover that her brother, Colum (Seamus McLean Ross), had broken his promise and ordered assassins to kill Brian. This of course prompted Ellen to break her own promise and choose a daring escape with her beloved. Aided by others, the two do make it out of Castle Leoch, but not without complications, including the death of Malcolm at the hands of Brian in self-defense. However, in the end, more hardship follows as Ellen and Brian see the mountain crosses burning, which signals a looming battle, and Brian must choose between duty and love once again.

Recently, stars Slater and Roy spoke with SciFi Vision about the season finale, including why Brian is making the choice to return for battle, what Ellen’s plans are, if either of them would have been able to move on if things had gone differently, and if Ellen can ever forgive her brother.
