Layers of mystery began to peel back, and by the end of the season arc, the series was gearing up to take things to the next level. New Girl returns to Fox Tuesday, September 25 with all new episodes. Series star Zooey Deschanel, who was recently nominated for an Emmy for her part, will also be guest starring on the season premiere of The Simpsons on Sunday, September 30. Deschanel is known for her work in films such as The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and The Happening, and on television for roles such as on Weeds and Bones. Deschanel is also known an accomplished musician for her collaboration with M. Ward with She & Him.
Deschanel recently talked to the media about the upcoming season of New Girl.

Site Issues
If you notice anything not working today it is because I am trying to fix the site - something, maybe a plugin is causing the server to run much higher than it should. I have unlimited bandwidth on my webserver, but evidently it isn't exactly unlimited if it goes high enough. Given that I haven't suddenly had a high influx of traffic and it hasn't happened before (at least from what I can tell) I am assuming and hoping it is a script.
In the event it's not a script but the traffic I get, I'm not sure what is going to happen as I don't have $100 or whatever a month to pay for a dedicated server. Though I am going to start with some ads if I can figure it out, I don't know if it will be enough. For the moment I am turning off the one module I was using to display photos. This will only affect the galleries under "multimedia>promo photos" and only those directly on SFV (for example the press tour photos in the actually gallery won't be affected). I'm waiting to see if this fixes the issue, as they are the newest thing I have added to the site.

It's getting much more difficult to impress viewers with pilot episodes in the wake of Lost's departure from television. Shows that have huge casts and sprawling mythologies are becoming less successful with every passing season. The JJ Abrams name and brand lives on though, and "Revolution" has that attached to it so that comes with the baggage it entails.

Now that the direction of the season/series has been set more or less in stone, it’s all about how the writers are going to manage to make it work. On the surface of it, as I mentioned in reviews for previous episodes, the majority of the damage is to the integrity of Arthur’s character arc. In one fell swoop, he is rendered all but useless again. This episode doesn’t change that, but it does show that Annie’s characterization is back on track.

The mid-season finales of "White Collar" always end on a dramatic cliffhanger. In the first season, it was the reveal that Peter was secretly in contact with Kate (which, considering that this was still the first season, made us wonder if Peter might be a baddie); in the second season, it was Mozzie being shot; and in the third, it was Keller's kidnapping of Elizabeth. And as expected, the fourth season attempts to follow suit.

White Collar: "Vested Interest" Early Review

Tonight USA Network will air the White Collar fourth season mid-season finale, "Vested Interest," and it's a doozy.
The episode picks up with Neal and Peter still at odds, Neal blaming him for Ellen's death and angry that he investigated Sam, which caused him to bolt. Peter tries to reconcile with Neal, who doesn't even want to talk to him. The two however have to put aside their problems as there is an FBI conference, and they have to speak to why they make such great partners. There are some great lines during the presentations, both Neal being a smart ass and Peter admitting to having faith.

Since her introduction earlier in the season, Kat has been a bit sidelined, her work with Nina notwithstanding. This episode corrects that mistake, showing some of the nuances in her personal situation, and how her ability and its downside can be used against her best interests. It’s not at all surprising that she’s developed a bit of a complicated personality. This episode only seems to scratch the surface of how she might have been abused, and it’s enough to paint a disturbing picture.
