Exclusive: Graham Shiels Talks Olympus

Graham ShielsSyfy's new mythological series Olympus airs Thursdays. Recently, star Graham Shiels, who plays King Aegeus on the show, talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview about his role.

The actor first talked about how he got the role. "I was in Vancouver just for the weekend, and I have a great agent in Vancouver working for me. While I was there, I had this audition from a casting director by the name of Sean Cossey, who also cast Arrow, which I did three episodes of. And I went into this audition with him, and I was like, "Wow this is so cool."

"And they wanted everything in a British dialect, and you know, I'm a classically trained actor from Yale School of Drama, and I looked at this material and was like, 'this is like Shakespeare on camera; this is like a dream; it's amazing.'

Stars Anna Silk & Zoie Palmer on the Final Season of Lost Girl

Lost GirlThis Friday Syfy premieres the fifth and final season of Lost Girl. In preparation, stars Anna Silk, who plays the succubus, Bo, and Zoie Palmer, who plays Lauren, recently talked to the media about what’s to come on the series.

Palmer talked to SciFi Vision about what she wants the show to be remembered for. “That feels like a big question, because, you know, as we come to the end, it feels like there's so much. Everything comes rushing back to me. You know, it was such a team, of both the characters and the cast. And I think there's something about that that sticks with me, having had a little bit of time away from the actual filming of it now. It's just like the dynamic of the team, of everybody, and how those characters sort of interacted and moved through the five seasons and moved through the trials and tribulations of the show.

“And I mean, it might sound a little trite, but there's something about that that I think, I hope, that people are sort of left with, that sense of, you know, togetherness and helping each other out and that sort of thing.”
