Fringe Finale Left Us Hanging
Since late last season, Fringe has been moving towards the inevitable convergence of the primary universe and the parallel one in which William Bell resides and the Peter we know came from. The winter finale finally brought this to fruition. The Final Season of Lost Starts with a Bang
Lost started its sixth and last season with a bang literally, continuing where it left off last season with the detonation of a hydrogen bomb. Fans were left to wonder last season on the future of the characters, two in jeopardy of dying, but would history be rewritten and save them all? Nothing But The Blood: True Blood Season 2
True Blood follows the life of Sooky Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), a waitress living in Bon Temps, Louisiana, who is anything but a normal southern girl. Sookie is telepathic and bombarded by people’s thoughts until she meets Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer), who she can’t read because he is a vampire. In the world of True Blood, the vampires have recently “come out of the coffin” and can survive on synthetic blood, called TruBlood (though not all of them mainstream like Bill). The HBO series is based on The Southern Vampire Series by Charlaine Harris. True Blood was renewed for a second season last year after only two episodes aired - it was a bonafide success. Stargate Universe Takes You Beyond Your Imagination
The Stargate phenomena first started on film in 1994 and then on television in 1997 with Stargate SG-1, and in 2002 was picked up by Syfy (formally Sci Fi) who made it their own and the series continued for a total of ten seasons, as well as some post series movies. The show focused on a team of a soldier, an astrophysicist, a civilian scientist, and an alien, who used a Stargate to travel to planets outside our own solar system. Towards the end of the original series, the scientists of Stargate discovered a use for the eighth chevron on the gate – to travel to Atlantis in the Pegasus Galaxy. Thus became the spin off of Stargate: Atlantis. For years the ninth Chevron was not mentioned, until now. If activated the ninth chevron could take them far beyond that of the Pegasus Galaxy. The Middleman recently finished its first season on ABC Family. This show combines science fiction and comedy to make a very unique experience. Margaret Dunlap, the assistant writer for the show, penned the next to the last episode of the season, entitled, The Clotharian Contamination Protocol.
The Incident Will Keep You Guessing
Time travel, Egyptian symbolism, and a dead man walking - those are only a few of the themes fans are discussing after the Lost season five finale last week. As per usual, the season finale was jam-packed with plot twists and turns as well as spectacular special effects that put us on the edge of our seats and left us questioning what we actually saw. Fringe Finale is Out of This World
There’s more than one of everything. That was the title and pretty much summary of the season finale of Fringe on Tuesday - another you, another me, another world. Walter Bishop posited that déjà vu is a glimpse into that other world – you think you have been there before, because you actually already have – in an alternate reality, a reality slightly different from our own. It’s an interesting take on déjà vu. LOST Blows it Out of the Water with an Explosive Season Finale
After such a monumental season three finale last year that revealed the fact some of the crash victims made it off the island, as well as with the introduction of “flash forwards,” fans were left to wonder if such a finale could be topped. They were not to be disappointed. This year’s season led up to and filled many of the gaps between “island time” and last year’s finale scene, the finale finally answering the question plaguing fans since then, “Who is in the coffin?” (although you wont find that out until the last moments of the episode).
