Kenton Duty Talks About His Part on 'Lost'

Kenton Duty is fairly new to the acting scene, but he does have a few roles under his belt, with a role in the web series Ctrl and a part in the Tim Allen movie, Crazy on the Outside. He also appeared in an episode of the television series Cold Case. His talent, however, more than makes up for his lack of experience. Duty may be fifteen, but having been part of one of the most popular television series in history, Lost, is bringing him into the spotlight and is sure to help his budding career.

On Lost, Duty played the role of a young Jacob, although no one, including Duty himself, knew who his character was until nearly the final episode of the series. He was billed simply as “Teenage Boy.”

Battling the “Mongolian Death Worm” on SyFy

In SyFy’s latest creature feature, Sean Patrick Flanery stars as Daniel, a treasure hunter looking for the tomb of Genghis Khan. But the tomb is guarded by the man-eating Mongolian death worm, which doesn’t like to be disturbed. When Daniel and a U.N. aide worker played by Victoria Pratt (Day Break) find themselves battling local bandits, the worms get involved. Flanery recently answered questions about the role, and how he got involved with the film.

Alan Dale on 'Lost'

Alan Dale is quite an accomplished actor, whose work spans not only over three decades, but also the globe. Dale’s not only a popular actor here, but also in Australia, where he started his career over thirty years ago. He’s been in popular television series such as The X-Files, The West Wing, 24, and Ugly Betty, among many others, and movies such as Hollywood Homicide and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. He even did voiceover work for a few video games such as EverQuest II, and can also be seen in the upcoming movies Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark and Priest.

Dale plays the mysterious character of Charles Widmore on the popular series Lost.

Jewel Staite, who is not new to the sci-fi scene, is probably best known for her roles on the television shows Firefly and Stargate: Atlantis. She has also appeared in other television shows in the past such as The X-Files and Dead Like Me, and will be starring in the upcoming movie P5Ych.

Conner Fox may be fairly new to the industry, but he’s moving in fast. He has appeared in such movies as Invisible Man and Blood Night. He also recently starred in the movie Ice Grill, USA, for which he was also the executive producer. Conner also has other shows coming out soon, including Yaksha and a possible pilot for Fox.

Q&A with Mary McCormack and Fred Weller

Mary McCormack is known for her work in movies such as Private Parts and K-PAX, and has appeared in such television programs as ER and The West Wing. She has also been involved in theater and garnered a nomination for a Tony Award for her work in the 2008 Broadway revival of Boeing Boeing.

Fred Weller has appeared in movies such as Armageddon and The Shape of Things, and on television for shows such as Missing Persons and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. He also wrote and directed Street Car, which is currently doing the rounds on the festival circuit. Both McCormack and Weller appear in the film.

Many people might first remember Donnie Wahlberg as a member of the music group New Kids on the Block from the late eighties and early nineties. The band has seen a revival and is currently on tour. Wahlberg, however, is much more than a singer, and has since gotten the acting bug and made his own mark in the entertainment industry. William Mapother Talks About Being a Part of 'Lost'

William Mapother has been in the entertainment business for quite some time. He has appeared in movies such as In the Bedroom and The Grudge and in television series such as Prison Break and Criminal Minds, and recently appeared in the new Fox show Human Target. He can also soon be seen soon on USA’s Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Mapother, however, is probably best known for his work on the hit ABC show Lost as the evil “Other,” Ethan Rom. Andrea Gabriel is best known for her role as Nadia in the hugely popular television show, LOST. She recently reprised the role as her character, who although dead, appeared in what have come to be called “flash sideways.” Nadia is the love interest, and wife in the original timeline, of Sayid, played by Naveen Andrews.
