FX's hit series, The Strain, which has already been renewed for a second season, follows Dr. Ephraim Goodweather (Corey Stoll) and Nora Martinez (Mia Maestro) of the CDC as they are called in to investigate a viral outbreak, which they soon find out is actually an ancient strain of vampirism. With the help of expert Abraham Setrakian, played by David Bradley, who has seen the vampires before, they must work together to hunt down and stop the Strigoi.

Star Bradley recently talked to SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview.

The process of becoming involved in The Strain was very quick for Bradley, but he was eager to do it. "I was sitting quietly at home, looking forward to Christmas, and there was not much on the horizon. I had had quite a busy year, thankfully, and then I got a call from my agent to expect a transatlantic call from Guillermo [del Toro] and Carlton Cuse, the producer, which was thrilling. They came on, and they explained these things to me about what they wanted to do and how they were looking for this character.

Tonight Syfy airs an all-new episode of Defiance. Now that Christie McCawley, played by Nicole Muñoz, is married to Castithan Alak Tarr (Jesse Rath) and living with his parents, Datak (Tony Curran) and Stahma (Jaime Murray), things will be different for her. The actress recently sat down with Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision for an exclusive interview about marriage, pregnancy, and what's next for Christie.

Sometimes the actors get their scripts a week in advance, but it's always being changed. "We film the scripts in blocks. We get the first few scripts, and then we film it for a couple weeks, and then we get the next set of two scripts. So we get two scripts at a time, but usually they're constantly being revised; they're constantly changing. They never give you one script and go "Okay this is the script you're going to work with for the rest of the month." Every day a new one comes out. There might be just changes in spelling or a new character, but sometimes the storyline changes, because the writers are continuously doing meetings; they're continuously writing and creating and making the show better and improving. And so as actors we're always getting revisions. So sometimes it can be a week in advance, sometimes it can be a couple days in advance."

This season on Syfy's Defiance, Doc Meh Yewll, played by Trenna Keating, has been more integral to the story line. Spending the beginning episodes in Camp Reverie, the Indogene used her smarts to eventually get let out of the prison camp, and was instrumental in the release of Datak Tarr (Tony Curran) as well.

The actress recently sat down with Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview to talk about the second season and what's in store for her character moving forward.

Last August 24th, SciFi Vision was extremely lucky to get an exclusive visit to the Defiance set. This was my second time visiting after the Syfy Digital Press Tour last summer, however it was the first time for my writer Karen Moul, who accompanied me.

Even the second time, I was still in awe of the beauty and size of the backlot. It's easy to let reality fall away and feel like you are really in the town of Defiance.

In August, at the beginning of filming for the second season of Defiance, SciFi Vision was lucky enough to get to visit the set and learn a bit about the upcoming season.

During that visit, Grant Bowler, who stars as Nolan, sat down with the site for an exclusive interview.

At the beginning of the season, Nolan is no longer the lawkeeper, so what will bring him back to the town? "I think the tricky thing in season two actually is getting him back to Defiance. I mean that's the first thing for me that's the trickiest thing, because my first question was when Kevin [Murphy] wrote him busting out of Defiance, "How are you going to get him back?" Because he's not really a guy with a reverse gear, so we've solved that; there is something that brings him back to Defiance."

Recently TNT premiered season four of Falling Skies. Tom (Noah Wyle) and Anne (Moon Bloodgood)'s alien-human hybrid daughter, Lexi, has continued to grow at an abnormal rate, reaching young adulthood, as well as gained some interesting abilities. Scarlett Byrne, who joined the cast as Lexi this season, talked to Jamie Ruby in an exclusive interview about her work on the series.

Byrne originally auditioned for the role on tape. "I auditioned for it last year, I think around August time. I put myself on tape in one of my best friend's bedroom. And then I got a call, and I had a Skype meeting with Greg Beeman. And then I redid the tape in more of a studio setting, and then I found out I got the call. So it all happened in two weeks, and suddenly I was traveling to Vancouver and started shooting the show. So it was a bit [of a] whirlwind; it was fun."

Last August SciFi Vision visited the set of Syfy's Defiance to learn about the upcoming second season. At the time, the cast was only into the second week of filming, and was working on the first three episodes of season two. Dewshane Williams, who plays the character of Tommy, took time out of his day to sit down with the site at the NeedWant for an exclusive interview.

Last week, TNT premiered the fourth season of its popular science fiction drama, Falling Skies. Drew Roy, who plays the eldest Mason son, Hal, recently talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview.

At the beginning of the fourth season the characters are going to be split up, so Hal won't be spending all his time looking after his younger brothers, or hanging out with Maggie (Sarah Carter). Hal will be stepping up into more of a leadership role. "That's was an exciting new twist, because usually it's me looking after the brothers, a little conflict with Ben (Connor Jessup), loving moments with Maggie, but now I find myself in this prison camp ghetto, and we're trying to get out. So in the first several episodes, it's all about that and how we can team together to be able to make this push to get out of there, and we meet some new characters who enlighten us on some ideas.

The executive producer of Warehouse 13 Jack Kenny talked to SciFi Vision during a set visit last August. While talking about the finale, he specifically talked about the kiss between Pete (Eddie McClintock) and Myka (Joanne Kelly). "It's not as you'd expect it would be, and it's you know, it's inevitable, yet still surprising I think. I think it's both inevitable and surprising, and I think it's lovely and warm, and I think it's incredibly satisfying in a way that isn't schmaltzy or overwrought or expected; it's just very satisfying. You go "Awe. Of course, of course. Now it's right; now everything is right."

"And yet their relationship doesn't really change. They maintain their same sort of attitude about each other - it's very Beatrice and Benedict. It's Tracy and Hepburn. It's all the great old couples through all of time who you know should end up together and despite the fact that...I think it's very satisfying. I think the fans will be pleased and satisfied, yet still surprised by it, because it's surprising."

Syfy's popular series Warehouse 13 closed its doors tonight. Recently the executive producer, Jack Kenny, sat down with Jamie Ruby in an exclusive interview to talk about the finale.

One of the things Kenny talked about breaking the stories of the season when they received the news that they would only get six episodes, and how they decided on the finale. "We had already broken I guess about ten episodes by the time we finally got the word whether we were picked up at all. We were in there pitching episodes trying to get them to pick us up, and I actually think pitching them the telenovela episode ("Savage Seduction") was one of the reasons they gave us six instead of just canceling us or whatever. They were very excited about that, the idea of a telenovela episode, so that helped.

"But we had I guess a total of about ten stories when we got the word. I didn't want to end the series on another 'oh, the world's going to blow up and we have to save it' episode. We'd done that; we'd done it three times: saved the world, or the warehouse, or both. And so the way we were arcing out the season with Benedict Valda (Mark Sheppard) and stuff, we thought, 'We can wrap that up in episode five. Let's use episode five as our penultimate and make that the warehouse episode where they save the world.'
