Spartacus: Vengeance 2.5 Review: "Libertus"

By John Keegan
spartacus-posterIt’s come to my attention that there are those who feel that this season of “Spartacus” has been too slow, too boring, and generally lacking in the kind of well-oiled mechanics that made “Blood and Sand” and “Gods of the Arena” so addictive. Fringe 4.14 Review: "The End of All Things"

By John Keegan

Fringe-Glyphs-meu-anjo-17630623-160-160It’s amazing when a show can sustain a mystery for nearly four seasons, only to provide a resolution that is not only logical but deceptively simple. I can’t say that the origins/nature of the Observers is particularly shocking, since it was one of the many theories that has been tossed around since the beginning, but I love how it fits so perfectly with what we have seen.

Justified 3.6 Review: "When the Guns Come Out"

By John Keegan and Henry Tran

Justified_iconThis fine season of "Justified" continues on. Ringer 1.14 Review: "Whores Don't Make That Much"

By John Keegan and Henry Tran

ringer_iconIt feels like those responsible for making episodes of "Ringer" wants viewers to be surprised by the revelations they dole out in each episode. The thing is, those surprises are often telegraphed early and don't feel very earned. Everything that happened here wasn't as confusing as previous episodes, but it's missing that emotional connection to draw people in.
