Tonight, AMC airs the season one finale of the popular spinoff series, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. In the episode, titled, “Coming Home,” Genet works to keep control and solidify her power, while Daryl continues on his quest to return to America.

Recently, Romain Levi, who plays Codron, and Anne Charrier, who plays Genet, spoke with SciFi Vision about what it’s been like working on the series, as well as teased what fans can expect in the finale.

Tonight, Transplant returns to NBC with all-new episodes of season two. In the season premiere, Bash (Hamza Haq)’s decisions dealing with a patient pit him against Dr. Neeta Devi (Rekha Sharma), the new Chief of Emergency Medicine. Meanwhile, Theo (Jim Watson) has trouble dealing with the aftermath of his helicopter crash, while Mags (Laurence Leboeuf) wants to help a patient who the system has failed.

Series creator and showrunner, Joseph Kay, recently spoke at length with SciFi Vision about what’s to come in season three, including Bash and Mags’ relationship, Novak (Gord Rand) and June (Ayisha Issa) butting heads, how the helicopter crash is affecting Thea’s work, Sharma’s new character, and much more.

NEW YORK, NY – October 12, 2023 – Melissa McBride is set to reprise her fan-favorite role as “Carol Peletier” as a series regular in the second season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, which was announced at New York Comic Con earlier today.  McBride first played “Carol” in The Walking Dead flagship series for eleven seasons alongside Norman Reedus, who stars as “Daryl Dixon” in the spin-off series set in France.  The news of McBride’s return to the Walking Dead Universe comes just ahead of the show’s Season One finale on Sunday, October 15 at 9pm ET/PT on AMC and AMC+, in which she makes an appearance. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon has been a ratings success on AMC+ and AMC to become the most-viewed premiere in the history of AMC+ and is pacing to be the most-viewed single series of any show ever on the platform.  On AMC, Daryl is a top 15 cable drama for 2023 to date in adults 25-54, joining other AMC series The Walking Dead: Dead City, Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches, Fear the Walking Dead and Dark Winds in that category.

AMC Networks returned to New York Comic Con this afternoon with a panel for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, along with an early screening of the series’ Season One finale prior to its premiere this Sunday, October 15 at 9pm ET/8c on AMC and AMC+.
 
The panel, moderated by Entertainment Weekly’s Dalton Ross, kicked off with an exclusive look at some of AMC Networks’ anticipated series in 2024, including The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire Season Two and Orphan Black: Echoes.

Tonight, AMC aired the penultimate episode of season one of the newest of the spinoff series, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. In the episode, (Norman Reedus) and Laurent (Louis Puech Scigliuzzi) travel to the nest and Genet (Anne Charrier) moves forward with her plans. Flashbacks reveal how Daryl arrived in Paris, and Daryl connects with someone from home.

Louis Puech Scigliuzzi and Eriq Ebouaney (Fallou) recently spoke with SciFi Vision about working on the series, including their favorite scenes, what it was like meeting walkers, how the series has changed them, and much more.

Last night, Quantum Leap returned to NBC for all-new episodes of season two. The series, which takes place thirty years after the original on which it was based, follows physicist Ben Song (Raymond Lee) as he “leaps” into different bodies in different time periods to right things that have gone wrong. At the end of last season, for the first time, Ben had leapt into the future, into the 2050s where it was nuclear winter and Project Quantum Leap had been shut down. With the help of the team, Ben was able to change that future and leapt once again, expecting to return to his fiancé Addison (Caitlin Bassett) and his own time, which is where season two picks up. However, instead of where and when he hopes, Ben leaps into 1978 and is unable to contact anyone from PQL and must move forward with the leap on his own. Eventually he is contacted by Ian (Mason Alexander Park)’s hologram who reveals to him that three years have passed and believing he was dead, PQL was shut down.

The beam of a flashlight shines through a stone doorway. Footsteps approach. It is Daryl (Norman Reedus), and as he reaches us, the camera pulls back and we hear the rattle of a chain. He is locked behind an iron gate. Growling draws his attention, and he shines the flashlight through the bars, revealing a group of walkers. Laurent (Louis Puech Scigliuzzi) wanders into view, and Daryl clutches the gate, knife in hand, calling the boy’s name. As the walkers overtake Laurent, he bows his head and puts his hands together, praying, and then he is hidden from view by the staggering figures. Daryl screams his name, but Laurent doesn’t move. Eventually, losing hope, Daryl falls silent. The walkers move back the way they came, and lo, Laurent is standing there, still praying, unharmed. Hallelujah amen.

The episode begins as Daryl (Norman Reedus) drives the cart into a town, and Isabelle (Clémence Poésy) says, helpfully, “This is the town of Angers.” They stop in a square outside a rundown theatre, and Daryl gives Sylvie (Laïka Blanc-Francard) his gun with an instruction to protect the horse. Maybe he regrets sending Asteríx the mule to certain death last week.

Daryl and Isabelle go inside. Isabelle’s contact is a musician who has been living here for years. A door behind a rack of theatrical costumes opens, and a wild-eyed man with eccentric Beethoven hair emerges, addressing them in French. The subtitles are also in French, so I can’t tell you what he’s saying. As he approaches, Daryl holds up a hand to stop him, and tells Isabelle to ask about the radio, without so much as a “my-name-is-Daryl-Dixon-I-come-from-a-place-called-the-Commonwealth.” Crazy Beethoven realizes Daryl is “Anglais.” “I speak,” he says. “Sky blue, grass green. Where is Brian? He is in the kitchen?” I’m hazarding a guess that this man is not of entirely sound mind.

Beethoven takes them downstairs into a cluttered office where there is a radio. Daryl rattles its bits ineffectively, reminding me of the opening scene of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Isabelle says something in French about a place called Le Nid, and Beethoven replies “Yes, of course. The radio could call to there.” Daryl stops pretending he knows anything about technology and asks the man to fire up the radio. “Oh no,” says the man in dismay, and asks if they would like a show. “What the fuck?” says Daryl, and Beethoven tells Isabelle that he used some of the radio parts for “amplification.” “Do you like Ravel?” he asks and starts playing Boléro through a makeshift sound system. He goes upstairs, telling Isabelle and Daryl to follow him into the auditorium.

Tonight, an all-new episode of the spinoff of the popular franchise, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, premieres on AMC and AMC Plus. The episode features the French performer Hugo Bardin as the drag queen, Coco, in the nightclub the Demimonde. Known professionally as Paloma, the performer is known for winning the debut season of Drag Race France. Bardin recently spoke with SciFi Vision about his time on Daryl Dixon, including how Norman Reedus actually asked for him to be on the series!
