Tonight Fox will air the last episode of
Fringe, "The End of All Things," before a short hiatus. David Robert Jones returns, and with the ads showing the Observer, it looks to be an exciting episode. The two executive producers of the series, Jeff Pinker and J.H. Wyman, talked with the media yesterday about the all new episode, as well as a bit about what fans can expect moving forward.
The executive producers said that tonight's episode is definitely going to be important to the mythology of the series. According to Pinkner, "It's definitely, as they say, a game changer, in that our characters learn a lot more and the audience is going to learn a lot more about sort of the uber plot of our season bad guy David Robert Jones. The character...certainly for Peter this season and Olivia and Walter is going to start to unfold in ways that, hopefully, will be really both satisfying and challenging to our characters...It's very much a hinge episode that's going to launch us into the back half of the season."
