Chicago FireTonight, NBC premieres an all-new episode of its series Chicago Fire. The drama series follows firefighters and other rescue personnel who work at Firehouse 51 for the Chicago Fire Department. Eamonn Walker stars as Battalion Chief Wallace Boden and David Eigenberg stars as Lieutenant Christopher Herrmann.

The two actors recently talked to journalists during a junket for the show where they talked about the real firemen who have influenced their lives, their favorite storlines of the season, and more.

Be sure to check out our portion of the video interview below.

The actors were inspired by real firefighters when creating their characters. Eigenberg told SciFi Vision, “I went on a ride along, and there was a real firefighter, and I was in gear, and I was standing behind him, and he was trying to break through a door, and he yelled at me, 'Open the -!' and he used some pejoratives - 'Open the door!' And it impacted me, because I was like, you know, you need to do what you need to do. He screamed at me and hurt my feelings, but I understood why he was doing that.”

Walker added, “Steve Chikerotis doing what he did from the very beginning, it was his love of the Chicago Fire Department that really made me realize who I wanted to make Boden be.”

Video Interview: Jason Beghe and Jesse Lee Soffer Talk Chicago P.D.

Chicago P.D.An all-new episode of Chicago P.D. aired last night on NBC. The series, police procedural drama, which is a spinoff of Chicago Fire, follows the patrol officers and Intelligence Unit who work at the 21st District of the Chicago Police Department, led by Detective Segergeant Henry "Hank" Voight, played by Jason Beghe. Jesse Lee Soffer plays the role of Detective Jay Halstead in the series.

Beghe and Soffer recently talked to reporters during a junket promoting the show where they teased about romance for their characters and more.

Be sure to check out our portion of the video interview below.

Beghe talked about the possibility of Voight having a love interest this season. He told SciFi Vision that he doesn’t think it will happen. “I can tell you, quite honestly, that stuff comes up from time to time, but I've always felt that Voight, [and] it seems to be changing a little bit, but in my understanding of the character, he really is still kind of devoted to his dead wife. I think it's changing to some degree, but he's always, from my viewpoint, felt still married, and not out of any kind of ethics or, you know, feeling about that, it's just the way he fell in love with her. He’s not a guy who is vulnerable to temptations that others are. He’s fairly rooted in the present time.”

He continued on, telling journalists “I think the truth is his heart and focus is consumed with Chicago and keeping it safe. I suspect, there may be a time where he will, you know, get hit by bow and arrow, but maybe not. You know, let's see. A lot of us think about those things a lot, and as I understand playing Voight, that's not something that he's consumed with. Most of us think about that a lot, and he does not, which I find is an interesting part of him, and it adds to a lot of who he is, because it's rare to find a person like that. It's a conscious choice, as I tried to create the guy, but we're all vulnerable to [it].”

Weber told SciFi Vision who he’d like to get to work with on the series. “I'm desperate to work with Epatha, S. Epatha Merkerson, who I've loved since Jacob's Ladder…She had a small role in that intense movie, Jacob's Ladder. I'm gonna embarrass myself, but when I saw her, I was like, “Oh, whoa!” Then, I think over the years, we sort of met a little bit? My brain is addled. But I'd would love to work with her.”

Regardless, he is grateful for who he has worked with and has enjoyed it. “Listen, everybody on the show is wonderful…I'm enjoying working with with Brian. I have some upcoming stuff with Ollie (Oliver Platt). I enjoyed working with Yaya (DaCosta) and Dominic (Rains) and Torrey (DeVitto). It's kind of ridiculous; there's a wealth of really cool, creative people. So, whoever they put me with, I'm happy. I'm just basically grateful to be working. I mean, let's say it right out.”

Video Interview: More from Debris' Scroobius Pip and Norbert Leo Butz

Scroobius Pip and Nobert Leo ButzDebris, which airs Mondays on NBC, follows CIA Agent Bryan Beneventi (Jonathan Tucker) and MI6 Agent Finola Jones (Rian Steele) who work as partners at Orbital, a coalition formed between the two agencies to recover and study the effects of fallen debris from an alien spaceship. Norbert Leo Butz plays the part of Craig Maddox, Bryan’s handler at the CIA, and Scroobius Pip plays the part of the mysterious man working for Influx, Anson Ash. So far, not much is known about either character.

Recently Leo Butz and Pip talked to journalists during a junket about working on the series and teased a bit about their mysterious characters.

Be sure to check out our portion of the video interview below.

We still don’t know much about the group that Pip’s character is part of, Influx. The actor talked a bit to SciFi Vision about the mysterious group and their connection to Finola's father, George Jones. “There's basically a lot to learn. I think we've already teased, as Craig and the team are finding out, Influx [is] bigger than they may have appeared at first. It's not just a few guys in dark tones and moody facial hair. There's a lot more going on. There's a lot more going on behind the scenes.

“And the mystery is what the involvement is with Finola's dad, George Jones, and if it is George Jones. Obviously, the debris can do a lot of things. If there was a piece of debris that could reanimate the person who knows more about debris than anyone else in the world, I'd imagine Influx would be interested in that. Equally, if there was some way of faking a death, I'm sure they'd be interested in that. So, there's a lot to figure out in that world, but, yeah, we're very closely connected.”

She's a survivor. Ventimiglia talked to SciFi Vision about his inspiration for Jack. “[It was] two people very close to me: my father and a kid I grew up with who still remains one of my closest friends, my buddy Aaron. He's a dad, and he just reminds me of the dad that's always chasing time with his kids. My father was very much like that, and when I play Jack with the twelve-year-olds, I remember back to my dad coming and going from work in a tie, showing up to sporting events, really doing his best as a father to make sure he was giving us what we needed to hear, to grow and to hopefully be good people. But beyond that, I know, my dad, there were moments where it's like I personally just didn't want to disappoint him, because he was such a larger than life character to me. Then, I see the same thing with my friend Aaron, with the way he raises his kids, and he just wants time with his kids, which I know is a huge thing for Jack. It's all he's ever wanted.
