Syfy will be launching its countdown to Christmas week, starting with the all new original four-hour miniseries, Neverland. The show is a origin story about how the characters we all know and love from J.M. Barrie's classic become those characters.

Written and directed by Nick Willing, who directed the miniseries Tin Man, as well as Alice, which he also wrote, Neverland will air over two consecutive nights, begining on December 4th.

The miniseries stars Charlie Rowe of Pirate Radio as Peter Pan, Rhys Ifans, who many fans will know from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, as James Hook, and Anna Friel of Pushing Daisies as Captain Elizabeth Bonnie.

The three stars recently joined the press at the Syfy Digital Press Tour in Orlando, Florida to talk about the epic adventure.

If you think you know the story of Peter Pan, think again. Tonight Syfy will premiere the first half of its four-hour original miniseries, Neverland, which will conclude tomorrow night. The story is a prequel - an origin story, penned by Nick Willing, who previously directed the Syfy miniseries Alice, which he also wrote, and Tin Man. If you have watched either of those, you probably already have an idea that Neverland, although containing bits of the classic, will stand on its own.

The all new Syfy original miniseries Neverland, which debuts Sunday December 4 and concludes Monday, is a prequel to J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan. It was another slow week on The Walking Dead. In TWD time Sophia has only been missing three days, but in viewer time this is week four and Darryl is the only person who cares if she's still alive. More and more it looks like the search for the missing child is simply a device to develop Darryl's character. And while it seems to be working (if forum chatter is any indication, he's a very popular character), viewers are increasingly frustrated with the glacial pace of this season's storytelling.

It never seems to fail that just as you get into a show and the storylines seem to be taking new twists and turns and leave you on the edge of your seat waiting for the next episode, they announce that this will be their last season. Sadly, we must put Chuck on that list of last season showings.

We caught up with Joshua Gomez, who plays Morgan Grimes, on an interview on the final season of Chuck and his future plans. He gave us some insight on his challenges and things he looks forward to in his upcoming career.

Now in its 85th year, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is as much a holiday tradition as turkey, stuffing, and green bean casserole. More than 3.5 million people are expected to line the parade route and 50 million more will watch on TV.

The parade's signature element is the gigantic helium balloons that tower over the streets of New York City. Each year, more than a million people flock to the Upper West Side the night before the parade to see the balloons inflated. Laura Vandervoort (Smallville, V) is back on TV this month with a new holiday movie – ABC Family’s Desperately Seeking Santa. The film premieres this Sunday, November 27, at 8/7c.

Vandervoort plays Laura Walker, a shopping mall marketing executive who has more than a little in common with Ebenezer Scrooge. Gunning for a promotion, she dreams up a new plan to bring in customers: a search for the hottest Santa in town. Will a hunky Kris Kringle melt her cold heart?

"It’s a great family film," Vandervoort says, "but it’s also a very romantic, sweet story between these two very different people. She is the Scrooge of the film and she’s very focused on making it up the corporate ladder and she doesn’t realize what’s right in front of her, which is true love and family, which she doesn’t have."

Sendhil Ramamurthy is probably best known for his role of Dr. Mohinder Suresh on NBC's Heroes. More recently he also starred in the Funny or Die short by Christopher Farah, "Egypt's Facebook Revolution" as well as the Indian release Shor in the City.

Ramamurthy currently stars as Jai Wilcox in USA Network's Covert Affairs, which is currently in its second season. The actors talked to the digital media about his role.

Last Christmas Syfy brought us two Christmas specials. This year three scripted shows will be airing special episodes in December for the holiday season, during the Countdown to Christmas week. The three standalone episodes will air December 6th, starting at 8pm.

A member of the casts of each of the series, including Colin Ferguson (Sheriff Jack Carter on Eureka), Emily Rose (Audrey Parker on Haven), and Eddie McClintock (Pete Lattimer on Warehouse 13), attended the Syfy Digital Press Tour in Orland, Florida last month. Chris Fedak is the creator and executive producer of the popular action-comedy series Chuck on NBC. The series follows Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi) as a computer nerd turned spy, when a database of government secrets and deadly fighting skills that was meant for someone else is downloaded into his head. Chuck is assisted by Colonel John Casey (Adam Baldwin) and CIA agent (and now wife) Sarah Walker (Yvonne Strahovski).

This season everything has been turned on its head as the team no longer work for the CIA, but rather their own private security company Carmichael Industries. The "Intersect" has also now been downloaded into Chuck's best friend, Morgan Grimes (Joshua Gomez), so Chuck must learn to work with his own set of skills.
