A much better A-story than the previous episode compliments the very strong, continuing trend of great character stories. A formula has definitely emerged, but it's a fun formula, and this time around the "Lost Girl" writers use it to touch on an aspect of the show that has, until now, been taken for granted.

Syfy Powerful Mondays continue to get better and better with each episode that airs of their newly acquired series Lost Girl. The network has already picked a date, April 16th, to air season two of the series.
The show follows Bo, played by Anna Silk, a succubus who must learn to control her hunger. She is helped by her friend, roommate, and sidekick, Kenzi. While Kenzi doesn't have powers of her own, she has a lot to offer, such as a great sense of humor and a kick-ass wardrobe. She's brave and will do whatever it takes to help Bo.
The spunky character of Kenzi is played by actress Ksenia Solo, who has appeared on television series such as Moonlight, Life Unexpected, and Nikita. She has also appeared on film in movies such as Black Swan.
The actress sat down last week with Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision for an exclusive interview to talk about life and her work on Lost Girl.

Grimm 1.12 Review: "Last Grimm Standing"

I suppose it was inevitable that “Grimm” turn to that most tired of genre clichés, the “alien” gladiator games. How many genre shows have had an episode based on this premise, early in the series’ run? I think back to “Babylon 5”, an otherwise top-flight show, and how “T.K.O.” was one of its worst episodes in its entire run. Few series ever make it palatable, and “Grimm” is certainly no exception.

It’s come to my attention that there are those who feel that this season of “Spartacus” has been too slow, too boring, and generally lacking in the kind of well-oiled mechanics that made “Blood and Sand” and “Gods of the Arena” so addictive. I believe that this episode stands as a statement to those critics, as half a season’s plot threads come crashing down, along with most of the arena in Capua.

It’s amazing when a show can sustain a mystery for nearly four seasons, only to provide a resolution that is not only logical but deceptively simple. I can’t say that the origins/nature of the Observers is particularly shocking, since it was one of the many theories that has been tossed around since the beginning, but I love how it fits so perfectly with what we have seen.

It’s amazing when a show can sustain a mystery for nearly four seasons, only to provide a resolution that is not only logical but deceptively simple. This fine season of "Justified" continues on. While I have the small inkling that a stumble might just be around the corner, I'm really enjoying the ride for however long it keeps going. The danger in Harlan County seems to escalate with every episode, and it's kind of neat to see how each character reacts to those events.

It feels like those responsible for making episodes of "Ringer" wants viewers to be surprised by the revelations they dole out in each episode. The thing is, those surprises are often telegraphed early and don't feel very earned. Everything that happened here wasn't as confusing as previous episodes, but it's missing that emotional connection to draw people in.

Casting News: David Morrisey to Play The Governor on "The Walking Dead"

Fans of The Walking Dead have been waiting to see The Governor, a major character in Robert Kirkman’s graphic novel. The wait was over this week as AMC announced on Friday that The Governor will appear in season three and that David Morrisey has been cast in the role.
Morrissey is from England and has appeared in many acclaimed British television series. He is perhaps better known to American audiences for his roles in feature films such as The Reaping, The Other Boleyn Girl, Centurion, The Water Horse, Nowhere Boy and Blitz.
