Merlin is a new version of the Athurian Legend, that takes place when Merlin (Colin Morgan) and Arthur (Bradley James) were young men. The story follows Merlin as he helps Arthur, while only using magic in secret, as it has been forbidden by the tyrant king, and Arthur's father, Uther Pendragon (Anthony Head). With the help of Gaius (Richard Wilson) he must also help protect Camelot from the likes of Morgana (Katie McGrath), while also discovering his destiny.

Colin Morgan recently talked to the digital press about the upcoming fourth season of Merlin, which will air on Syfy next month.

It is often hard to find a television show that you want to tune into week after week, but if you do, you can often connect with a certain actor or actress that you love to see in the show. If you are lucky enough to find that actor or actress that does other work in other shows, it is great to be able to tune in, go to the movies, or get to see them in person if they go to conventions.

One actress who has been in several shows on television, along with Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Veronica Mars, is Charisma Carpenter. She embarks on a hopefully long journey in joining the cast of the ABC Family show The Lying Game, which premieres the winter episodes starting January 2, 2012 at 9/8 central.

Joining us for a conference call, she shared the new role coming to town in The Lying Game, a little insight to some new twists and turns, and a little hint as to what her history of working on these different shows has enabled her to bring to the table for her new role as Char's aunt, Ann Rebecca Sewell.

For quite awhile Andie MacDowell has graced the screen in films such as Michael and Four Weddings and a Funeral, and has had several guest appearances on television shows. She is now going to be starring in a new television show on ABC Family called Jane By Design.

Ms. MacDowell took time out of her busy television schedule to do a conference call to dish on the challenges of filming a new television show, her new co-stars, and her inspirations for her character role. Even though she is a seasoned actress, she is still learning from those around her.

An interesting twist on dreaming of something more and having the courage to go for it while still finishing the steps of high school, Jane by Design premieres January 3, 2012 at 8:00 pm on ABC Family.

Remains is based on the graphic novel that was written by Steve Niles (30 Days of Night) and illustrated by Kieron Dwyer. The film takes place in a post-apocalyptic Reno, Nevada, and is about what happens after most of the world's population has been turned to zombies. The movie follows a group of survivors as they battle the undead.

Niles, who also wrote the story for the film, took time to talk to the media about his project, set to air on Chiller on December 16th.

Switched at Birth, ABC Family's summer series, returns with all new episodes next month. The series follows the lives of two teenage girls, Daphne Vasquez (Katie Leclerc) and Bay Kennish (Vanessa Marano), who discover they were switched at birth.

Katie Leclerc got her first big break on the television series Veronica Mars. She recently guest starred on The Big Bang Theory, and has a role in the upcoming film The Ones.

Vanessa Marano is probably best known for her role on the television series Gilmore Girls. Other television roles include Without a Trace, Medium, and Dexter. Marano will also be appearing in the upcoming film The Secret Lives of Dorks.

The two actresses recently talked to the digital media about the series, which returns on January 3rd.

12 Dates of Christmas follows Kate Stanton (Amy Smart of The Butterfly Effect, Just Friends) who relives her Christmas Eve date over and over, and has twelve chances to get it right. The film, which also stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Saved by the Bell, Franklin & Bash) airs as part of ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas.

The stars of the movie recently talked to the media about the Holiday film.

The NBC series Grimm, inspired by the classic Grimm's Fairy Tales, follows Detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli), who is a descendant of the "Grimms:" a line of criminal profiles who are the only ones who can see the mythological creatures of the world for who they really are. He must work to keep balance between those creatures and humanity.

Barney Burman is a third-generation monster maker that has previously worked in both straight makeup and prosthetics on films such as Planet of the Apes, The Matrix Reloaded, and Star Trek, for which he won an Oscar, and television series such as The X-Files, Medium, and Eagleheart. He currently designs many of the creatures and special effects makeup on Grimm.

Burman recently sat down with the media to discuss his creativity on Grimm.

This year Syfy is airing special Christmas editions of three of its popular series, all premiering on December 6th.

The first special of the night is Eureka, with the episode "Do You See What I See?," where the town is transformed into different animated versions of themselves, including styles such as claymation, anime, and more. It's up to Jack and Alison's children to help get the town back to normal.

Next is Warehouse 13 with "The Greatest Gift," in which Pete is hit by an artifact and wakes up to a life in which he has never been born. He must get the team together, including breaking Artie out of jail, and to believe his wacky story and stop a very much alive MacPherson, before it's too late.

Finally, there is Haven, with the episode "Silent Night," in which everyone, except for Audrey, believes it's Christmas, and everyone starts to not only disappear, but once they are gone, no one remembers they ever existed. Audrey must find out what's going on before it's too late and no one but her is left in the town.

In the episode Pete Lattimer (Eddie McClintock) is hit in the head by an artifact which causes him to wake up to a life where he's never been born. In the new version of his reality, it's a different team of agents that work at the warehouse - including a very much alive James MacPherson (Roger Rees).
