When fan-favorite
American Idol contestant Adam Ezegelian did not make it into the Top 12, viewers were shocked. The toy maker from New York recently talked to Jamie Ruby in an exclusive interview about his time on
Idol and his plans for the future.
Ezegelian first talked about what brought him to
Idol. "I was in Walt Disney World over the summer, and they had this thing there called the
American Idol Experience. It was a park attraction where people can go and audition at the beginning of the day, and be put into a little mock
American Idol show that the audience votes for. And if the audience picks you as a winner, then you go to the finale at the end of the day and the winner of the finale gets this golden ticket. You get to skip the lines for the real
American Idol audition. So I won that and found out the auditions were in New York, so I was like “Oh, sweet!” And I auditioned."
If able, the singer could see potentially auditioning again for the show, but not for a while. "I don't know if making Top 24 inhibits me from coming back. But I might [come back]. Right now I can't imagine going through it all again, but I can see coming around to it in the future. It was a great experience."
