By Jamie RubyThursday Syfy premieres its new series
Dominion. The series is based on the characters and events from the film
Legion (2010).
Dominion, however, is set in the year 25 A.E. (After Extinction). The archangel Gabriel has assembled an army of lower angels and started a war against humans. The archangel Michael, however, has sided with mankind to protect them from Gabriel and his followers.
The story follows Michael and a large group of human survivors that live in the city of Vega (formerly Las Vegas).
Star Christopher Egan (Alex Lannen) and executive producer Vaun Wilmott recently sat down with the digital media to talk about the new series.
The two talked to SciFi Vision about how they first became involved in the series. Wilmott said, “The original producers of the movie
Legion were this company called Bold. And David Lancaster was the executive producer of that, and he had carved out the TV rights to
Legion, so that once it came time to decide if they were going to do a sequel to it, or if they were going to do a TV show, or what they were going to do, they decided to do a TV show.
