Exclusive: Sean Baek on the Season Finale of Killjoys

***INTERVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR 2.10***

Sean BaekKilljoys, which aired an all-new episode tonight on Syfy, follows intergalactic bounty hunters Dutch (Hannah John-Kamen), Johnny (Aaron Ashmore), and D'avin (Luke Macfarlane), who chase warrants throughout the Quad. They have tried to stay impartial, but with a friend's recent murder, what they've learned about the green plasma, and a war brewing, it's become almost impossible.

Tonight marked the season two finale of the series. In the episode, it was revealed that the plasma is actually sentient. With the help of Khlyen (Rob Stewart) and Fancy Lee, played by Sean Baek, the team try to stop what's been set in motion.

Baek recently talked to SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview about the series, which has now officially been renewed for season three.

Syfy Renews Killjoys and Dark Matter for Third Seasons

SYFY RENEWS ‘KILLJOYS’ AND ‘DARK MATTER’ FOR THIRD SEASONS

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – September 1, 2016 –
Syfy today announced a season three renewal for the space action dramas KILLJOYS and DARK MATTER. Both are currently wrapping their second seasons on Syfy: KILLJOYS will air its second season finale tomorrow, Friday, September 2 at 9/8c, while DARK MATTER will air a double episode on Friday, September 9 at 10/9c and 11/10c, and its season two finale on Friday, September 16 at 10/9c.

From Temple Street Productions (“Orphan Black,” “Being Erica”), Universal Cable Productions and creator Michelle Lovretta (“Lost Girl”), KILLJOYS follows a trio of interplanetary bounty hunters sworn to remain impartial as they chase deadly warrants throughout the Quad, a distant system on the brink of a bloody, multiplanetary class war. Starring Hannah John-Kamen as Dutch, and Aaron Ashmore and Luke Macfarlane as brothers John and D’avin, this season the KILLJOYS struggled to find the balance between politics, family and the good of the Quad. The series is produced by Temple Street Productions in association with Space and Syfy. Creator and showrunner Lovretta serves as executive producer, along with Temple Street Productions’ David Fortier and Ivan Schneeberg. Universal Cable Productions distributes the series worldwide.

Exclusive: Melanie Liburd Talks Dark Matter

Melanie LiburdOn tonight's all-new episode of Dark Matter, the crew of the Raza follows the lead of Nyx, played by Melanie Liburd, when she suggests hitting up a freighter ship for some drugs that they can sell for a lot of cash. They soon realize, however, that she has the ulterior motive of saving her brother (Mpho Koaho), who is being held prisoner on the ship that Nyx was previously able to escape.

It's also revealed in the episode why Nyx has always been so great at improvising fight moves and was able to knock Three (Anthony Lemke) out of the way in the previous episode. She and her brother had been given drugs on the ship and connected to the group consciousness, which gave them the ability to predict what is about to happen.

Roger CrossTonight Syfy aired an all new episode of its hit series Dark Matter. At the end of last season, fans were shocked to discover that Six, played by Roger Cross, was the one who betrayed the crew and turned them into the Galactic Authority.

This season some of Six's backstory was revealed. He found out that he was working for the Galatic Authority. However, things did not go as planned, as the prison was corrupted. Outside of the prison, One (Marc Bendavid) was murdered.

Although still not completely trusting him, the crew brought Six back to the Raza with them after he helped them escape the prison.
