Rebel Moon Part Two: The ScargiverRebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver, the sequel to Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire, premiered Friday on Netflix. The film was directed by Zack Snyder and written by Snyder, Shay Hatten, and Kurt Johnstad. Part two takes place on the moon of Veldt where Kora (Sofia Boutella) and the surviving fighters help defend their new home against the Motherworld. Before their enemies arrive to stop the rebellion, each of the warriors must face the truth of their past, including Titus (Djimon Hounsou), who returns, among other cast, for the second film.

Exclusive Video Interview: Alyvia Alyn Lind & Jack Dylan Grazer Talk The Spiderwick Chronicles

The Spiderwick ChroniclesThe Spiderwick Chronicles, which is based on the book series of the same name by Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black, premiered Friday on The Roku Channel. The series tells the story of the Grace family, including Helen (Joy Bryant), her fraternal twin boys Jared (Lyon Daniels) and Simon (Noah Cottrell), and her daughter, Mallory (Mychala Lee) who have moved from their home in New York and into their ancestral home, the Spiderwick Estate, in Michigan. It’s at the estate that Jared discovers a boggart (voiced by Jack Dylan Grazer) and realizes the truth: magical creatures are real. The only one to believe him, however, is his great-aunt Lucinda (Charlayne Woodward). She sends him to find the missing pages from her father’s field guide to magical creatures to keep it safe from the ogre, Mulgarath (Christian Slater), and his fetch, Calliope (Alyvia Alyn Lind). 

Recently, Lind and Grazer spoke with SciFi Vision about their work on the series, including what Lind thought about working with her costar Slater and what it was like for Grazer doing just the voice.

Rebel Moon Part Two: The ScargiverThe second part of Rebel MoonThe Scargiver, premiered Friday on Netflix. The film, directed by Zack Snyder, continues the epic story of Kora (Sofia Boutella) and the other surviving fighters, as they prepare to sacrifice everything they hold dear, in order defend Veldt, their new home, against the Motherworld. Each of the warriors must face the truth of their pasts before the opposition arrives to stop the growing rebellion. Atticus Noble (Ed Skrein), who Kora thought dead at the end of the last film, returns for battle. Also returning is Fra Fee as Balisarius, in addition to other cast members from the first film. 

Recently, Skrein and Fee spoke with SciFi Vision about the second film, including Skrein’s nude scenes in the chrysalis and Fee’s character’s motivation.

Video Interview: Star Trek: Discovery’s David Ajala & Doug Jones

Star Trek: Discovery Star Trek: Discovery has always balanced the ship’s mission and weekly conflicts with the crew’s personal lives: Captain Burnham’s affair with a Klingon sleeper agent, Stamets (Anthony Rapp) and Culber (Wilson Cruz)’s marriage, Adira (Blu del Barrio)’s relationship with Gray (Ian Alexander). Last season, fans were thrilled when it looked like Commander Saru (Doug Jones) would get his own shot at romance with Vulcan President T’rina (Tara Rosling).

Exclusive Video Interview: Wicked Little Letters' Star Anjana Vasan

Wicked Little Letters Last weekend, the film, Wicked Little Letters, opened nationwide. The movie, based on a true story, takes places in the 1920s in the seaside town of Little Hampton and stars Olivia Coleman as the very conservative Edith Swan and Jessie Buckley as the loud Irish migrant Rose Gooding. When Edith and the others in the town start receiving anonymous wicked little letters filled with vulgarities, it causes an uproar and Rose is charged with the crime. However, Police Officer Gladys Moss (Anjana Vasan) doesn’t believe her to be the true culprit, and she and the other townswomen decide to find out the truth. 

Recently, actress Vasan spoke with SciFi Vision about working on the film, including her preparation for the character, how the costume was an important part of it, and working with Olivia Coleman.
