Pacific Rim UprisingPacific Rim Uprising takes place ten years after the events of the original blockbuster film, when humanity won the war against the Kaiju, an alien race who came to earth from another dimension through a breach in the ocean floor.

The film follows former pilot Jake Pentecost (John Boyega), the son of a legendary Jaeger pilot who sacrificed himself to save the world.

While most cities of the world have rebuilt, some relief zones still remain, where people like Jake survive by selling old Jaeger parts on the black market.

Exclusive: Amanda Schull Talks 12 Monkeys and Cassie’s Journey

Amanda SchullTonight Syfy premiered its fourth and final season of 12 Monkeys with the first three episodes. Season four picked up immediately after the events of last season, with time travelers Cole (Aaron Stanford) and Cassie (Amanda Schull) reeling from their son Athan (James Callis)’s death.

Recently Schull talked in an exclusive interview with SciFi Vision about where recent events left her character, Cassie and Cole butting heads, and more.

Chris Hardwick References Removed from Nerdist Website in Wake of Chloe Dykstra's Abuse Allegations

Late last night, a blog post on Medium entitled “Rose-Colored Glasses: A Confession,” was made by actress and cosplayer Chloe Dykstra, detailing an abusive three-year relationship with her ex-boyfriend, stating that he was not only controlling and alienated her from her friends, but went so far as to derail her career following their breakup. Though she didn’t name names, it was quite clearly about Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick.

Following the social media blowup, Legendary Entertainment removed all mentions Hardwick from the Nerdist websites, including reference to him being the founder of the company, “pending further investigation.” The former CEO sold Nerdist Industries to Legendary back in 2012.

Advance Preview: 12 Monkeys Returns Stronger Than Ever

12 MonkeysTonight Syfy’s 12 Monkeys returns for the fourth and final season, with the first three episodes. The press was given the first six to review, though this review focuses on the first three.

The show picks up where last season left off, with Cole (Aaron Stanford) and Cassie (Amanda Schull)’s son, Athan (James Callis) having been shot by Jones (Barbara Sukowa) and later killed by Olivia (Alisen Down), who it is revealed is actually The Witness.
