Fringe 5.13 Review: “An Enemy of Fate”

By John Keegan

Fringe-Glyphs-meu-anjo-17630623-160-160Bringing a trilogy of episodes to a solid conclusion is a difficult task. Also bringing a full season arc to its natural and fitting conclusion is even more difficult. Wrapping up an entire five-season series at the exact same time is well nigh impossible. And yet, “Fringe” has come to its final conclusion with one of the finest examples of a series finale in recent memory.

Treat Williams Talks "White Collar"

Treat WilliamsBy Karen Moul

When White Collar returns this week, Neal (Matt Bomer) is still reeling from the revelation that Sam is his father. Will they find a way to build a relationship?

“You will see me [as Sam] on more than the season opener,” hints Treat Williams. “I cannot remember how many I was on. But I signed on for six. I think there are at least two more before the season ends."

It’s a role Williams enjoys. “I don't think it's too often you get to play a character who is mysterious. And no one seems to know who he is or what's his next move. He's not just the dad. We don't even know if he's the dad, which is fun.”

Offscreen, Williams has a great relationship with costar Bomer.

“I adore [Matt],” he gushes. “He's a lot of fun on set. He takes the work very seriously and himself not so seriously. He is honorable and humble and funny and a lot of the attributes that my son has. And I would be proud if he were my son.”

Watch White Collar Tuesdays at 9 ET on USA Network.

Joshua Jackson on the End of "Fringe"

By Jamie Ruby

Joshua JacksonAfter five seasons and 100 episodes, Fringe came to a close on Friday. In preparation for the finale, series star Joshua Jackson, who played Peter Bishop, talked to the press about the end of his journey.

Jackson talked to SciFi Vision about what he would miss. "Well the thing that you end up missing the most actually is not what gets put on the screen. The hardest thing to walk away from over a long formed TV show is the camaraderie of the company, both the crew and the group of actors that you have together. That's always the hardest thing to walk away from.

"Creatively, I feel like the show came to a natural and satisfactory ending. So I hope that people will be satisfied with the way that we put the story to bed tonight. And I feel like instead of either stretching to show on for too long or having it sort of cut off in an abortive way, I feel like we got to tell the ending of our story. So for that I'm really satisfied, but I will miss the people that I was working with for the last four years."

Farewell to "Fringe"

By AJ Grillo

FringeFor five seasons we have watched our Fringe team do the impossible. Now it has come time for them to do the hardest thing of all, end its glorious run. We have laughed and cried and tried to figure out what the heck was going on. Through the twists and turns of season five we have gotten those answers, and a short time ago the finale came and went and the final answer was revealed.

It was a glorious send off to one of the best shows ever on television. It had everything a finale should have; love, laughs, action, suspense, intrigue, and heartbreaking moments. Fringe did what few other shows have been able to do; they wrapped everything up while reminding us of every season come to pass.

By Jamie Ruby

Sam Huntington and Kristen HagerThis season Being Human has expanded to include four main cast members, as Kristen Hager, who plays werewolf Nora, has taken on a bigger role. Her dynamic with boyfriend Josh, played by Sam Huntington, is likely to change, as things are much different for the couple now that Josh is no longer a werewolf after having killed his werewolf "maker" Ray. Trouble isn't over for the two, however, as they decide to consult with the witch Donna (Amy Aquino) to get Sally (Meaghan Rath) out of limbo.
