Tonight marks the premiere of FOX's new series, Sleepy Hollow; however, the show is not what you might expect. While the story does focus on the town of Sleepy Hollow, it blends the story of the town and Ichabod Crane with that of Rip Van Winkle, along with some apocalyptic mythology, and even witchcraft, and places it all in modern day, for what makes a unique new show.

Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd And David Alpert On Board As Executive Producer

New York — September 16, 2013 — AMC announced today that the network is in the initial stages of developing a companion series to its original drama series The Walking Dead, which premiered on AMC in October of 2010. The Walking Dead is currently the #1 show on television among adults 18-49. Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert are on board as executive producers, with AMC Studios set to produce. The companion series has a target on-air date of 2015.

FOX's new series Sleepy Hollow is not quite what you might expect. A blend of a modern day Sleepy Hollow, plus ideas from Rip Van Winkle, thrown in with some historial events and apocalypse mythology, makes for a unique new show.

The show follows Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison), who 250 years after the Revolutionary War wakes up in modern day Sleepy Hollow, and it's apparent that he didn't come back alone. After the sheriff (Clancy Brown) is killed by the Headless Horseman, Crane bonds with Detective Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) as she strives to find the truth in not only his death, but to mysteries of her own past.

Co-creators and executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci recently talked to the press about the new series, which premieres Monday, September 16th, on FOX.

Maggie Siff has been seen in guest starring roles on series such as on Nip/Tuck and Life on Mars. Siff had a brief stint on Mad Men. Now you can catch her on the hit FX drama Sons of Anarchy, where she plays Tara Knowles, a woman trying to balance her professional life as a doctor and as the wife of Jax Teller, the president of the Sons of Anarchy, all while trying to raise her two boys and keep them away from the violence surrounding them. Sean Hayes, who is probably best known for his work on Will & Grace, stars in the new NBC sitcom Sean Saves the World. In the series Sean plays a gay divorced father who struggles to balance time for his career, as well as his teenage daughter, Ellie (Samantha Isler), who moves in. He wants to be the best dad ever, which is difficult with his new pushy boss as well as his mother, who thinks she knows best.

Hayes talked to the press recently about his new series which debuts on NBC on October 3rd.

The second set of round table interviews at the Defiance press room during the Fan Expo in Toronto was with Dewshane Williams, who plays Tommy, and Julie Benz, who plays Amanda Rosewater. The actors were able to reveal a bit about the new season during the interviews, which include very slight spoilers.

At the end of the last season of Haven, Audrey (Emily Rose) had disappeared with the barn, and Duke, played by Eric Balfour, followed after her and vanished as well. The premiere picks up six months later when Duke is spit back out, without Audrey.

Duke eventually makes it back to Haven, realizing Audrey is nowhere to be found, and the troubles in Haven are even worse than before. Can he and Nathan (Lucas Bryant) find Audrey before it's too late?

Eric Balfour talked to the digital media earlier in the week about the new season of Haven, which returns to Syfy tomorrow night.

He will help them catch criminals from his "blacklist," including politicians, mobsters, spies, and terrorists, but only on his terms - he must work with FBI profiler Elizabeth "Liz" Keen, played by Megan Boone.

Recently, Boone, along with executive producer John Eisendrath, talked to the media about the new series Blacklist, which premieres September 23 on NBC.

Andy Samberg stars in the new FOX comedy series Brooklynn Nine-Nine as Detective Jake Peralta. Peralta is smart but also smart-mouthed, and is used to the precinct being run by a lax captain who let him get away with a lot. When new Captain Ray Holt (Andre Braugher) takes over, Peralta is in for a rude awakening.
