New York – October 29, 2013 – AMC announced today that it has renewed The Walking Dead for a fifth season. The number one show on television among adults 18-49, The Walking Dead returned for a fourth season earlier this month and the premiere episode set a new record for the series, delivering 20.2 million viewers, live+3, and 13.2 million adults 18-49, a new record for any non-sports cable telecast.

The future just got brighter. Emmy and Tony Award-winning actor John Larroquette (“Night Court”) will guest-star in a recurring role on ALMOST HUMAN, the new adrenaline-filled drama set in 2048. The buddy-cop thrill-ride premieres with a special two-night series premiere on Sunday, Nov. 17 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) and Monday, Nov. 18 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Larroquette, best known for his Emmy Award-winning performance on the comedy “Night Court,” will recur as “Nigel,” a genius roboticist who is sympathetic, highly intelligent and a bit broken. Larroquette is also known for his work on “The John Larroquette Show,” “The Practice,” “Boston Legal” and “Night Court.” In 2011, he won a Tony Award for his Broadway debut in the revival of “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying,” alongside Daniel Radcliffe.
