Jesse Metcalfe Forecasts "A Darker Side of Christopher"

By Karen Moul

Jesse Metcalfe
As Dallas’ second season takes off, Jesse Metcalfe made time to speak with us about his character, Christopher Ewing.

“Christopher's a very noble character. He's really at the moral center of the show,” explained Metcalfe. “He's incredibly ethical and oftentimes heroic, and he's the guy that selflessly tries to serve and protect his family."

“Christopher is really defined by his need to prove himself as a Ewing,” he continued, “and the baggage of being abandoned by the only mother that he's ever known. I think that's the fuel for his ambition.

"So anything can come out of that. He's already proven himself in the first season to be pretty temperamental at times and very emotionally raw at times."

Dallas' Jordana Brewster: Elena Must "Watch Her Back"

By Karen Moul

Dallas on TNTDallas is back for its second season and already the new Ewing Energies is shaping up to be a turbulent workplace. We asked actress Jordana Brewster what her character, Elena Ramos, can expect from her new job. By joining John Ross and Christopher as a partner in the company, has she set herself up for trouble?

“I think if you are in the mix, if you are living in Southfork and working at Ewing Energies and in business with the Ewings,” said Brewster, “you are in danger, regardless of who you are sleeping with.”

“So I think yes, I think she does have to watch her back and I think she knows that. She is a very smart woman. “

Although she has broken their engagement, Elena always saw the good in John Ross. Is there any chance she is still vulnerable to her ex?

No way, says Brewster. “I think she really gave John Ross the benefit of the doubt throughout Season 1 and she was very torn because the love of her life was married to someone else.

“Once John Ross crossed her, that's it. “

Brewster recently spoke with journalists about playing the show’s good girl, living in Dallas, and bonding with the cast. Read the entire conversation and tune in to Dallas on Mondays at 9/8 on TNT.

Josh Henderson Predicts "Unbelievable Emotions" on Dallas

By Karen Moul

Dallas on TNTThe sophomore season of Dallas has brought a change to bad boy John Ross. In a recent interview, Josh Henderson told us his character “has chilled out a little bit and he has a different approach.”

John Ross hasn’t changed his plans, just his demeanor.

“I think that he still wants to take over Ewing Energies, that’s his goal,” continued Henderson, “but he knows that he can’t just be guns blazing angry all the time. So he has a different tactic and he has chilled out a little bit and he wants to fly under the radar a little more.”

But is this the quiet before the storm? Filming of season two was underway when Larry Hagman died, so viewers know what’s in store: John Ross will lose his father, J.R.

“Once J.R. is gone,” Henderson hinted, “John Ross is really on a dark mission.

“Everything is brought to a halt and I think he’s going to feel very, very lost and unprepared with J.R.’s early exit. It’s painful for him and he was not expecting this and it’s going to cause some unbelievable emotions and actions and stuff to come out of John Ross.”

Julie Gonzalo: It's Fun Discovering "the Real Pamela"

By Karen Moul

Julie GonzaloAs Dallas’ second season open, Pamela is determined not to let Christopher seize custody of their unborn twins. Is she taking orders from her father, Cliff Barnes, or is she just angry about being jilted?

“I think it's a little bit of both,” says Julie Gonzalo. “Obviously Cliff has never had any nice things to say about the Ewing family. And I think that most of the reason why she went on a two-year con to trap Christopher into marrying her and all that stuff is because of her father.”

As we know, the con didn’t go as planned. Gonzalo says Pamela really did fall in love with her mark and “she definitely is hurt with the fact that Christopher never would have loved her as much as he loved Elena.”
