Press Materials:

If you wish to send SciFi Vision physical items for promotion or review, please email jlruby[at]scifivision[dot]com for the appropriate mailing address.

All digital assets can be sent via email to jlruby[at]scifivision[dot]com.

Any interview requests or press event invites should also be sent to the above email.

Submission Rules

Article, multimedia, and link submissions from new users must be sent using the contact form. If the content is approved it will be added and you will be given credit. If you submit a lot of quality content I may give you priveleges to upload your own content, but until that happens do not use the submission form as it will only reject users on the registered only level.

Rules for submission:

You must include:
1. author of the content
2. link you found the content

Submissions must not contain:
1. pornography, drugs, extreme violence
2. anything that could be considered extremely offensive (ie no flaming, etc.)

If content includes artistic content (art, fanfiction, poetry):
1. the work must be your own or
2. you must have permission to post it
3. no underage sex, etc.

I'm not strict, but I think you get the point. Also most likely artistic content will not be included on the main page (ie it would get put into a user gallery, etc.)

Multimedia

Fandom Gallery
- Part of Sci Fi Vision (this is the main gallery) that will showcase all the photos I (Jamie Ruby) have taken at different sci-fi / fantasy conventions / events / sets & filming locations I have attended (+ other fandom photos). Includes The X-Files, Stargate, Battlestar Galactica, Harry Potter, & others. It also includes some concert photos, including American Idol. More of all to come. In the future, it will possibly include photos taken by others. Also includes exclusive interview photos.

There will be a separate page for multimedia soon, as I plan to set up a gallery specifically for fandom photos for shows (promos, studio shots, etc.) as well as a video gallery. For right now, you can also find multimedia through the featured sites and in the categories below. Please check back soon.

If you have any photos that you would like to see featured here, please submit them through the form. I am also specifically looking for set / filming location photos of different television shows / movies.

Reviews & Recaps

This is a list of all of the reviews and recaps I have written that are hosted at Sci-Fi Vision. Some have also been published at Media Blvd. Eventually I will have linked to reviews and recaps by other writers as well. Many times my reviews (generally when they have been published) include episode recaps, but the recap category is specifically for detailed recaps that focus on recapping the episode and not on my personal opinion. I have decided to include reviews and recaps I have previously written even if they are not on the air any more and/or a section of news that this site covers. Many more coming soon as I have type to edit and link them.

About SciFi Vision

Welcome! This is a place for those inspired by the strange, fantastic, and unknown. It is dedicated to those who share their talents with us and shine, whether it be on our televisions or on the silver screen. Here you will find interviews with celebrities, reviews from multiple genres, and other pop culture news and multimedia. While we originally started with a love for science fiction and fantasy, this site is no longer just for any one genre.

This site will also be home to fansites dedicated to those we all love to watch over and over again. There will also be sites dedicated to tv shows/movies, as well as artwork dealing with science fiction and fantasy.

Stay updated on the changes and additions to this site under "Site Updates," or check out the official Twitter @scifivision, updated frequently, where you can follow for live quotes during many of the interviews. You can also follow us on Facebook. Choose Featured Sites to find the different sites hosted here. If you like this site, please feel free to link to us and join our Livejournal community.

This site is heavily under construction, and much more is planned for it in the future. If you are interested in helping out with this site, or have a site/fansite you would like to see featured here, please don't hesitate to contact us.

If you are an actor/actress and have a site/fansite you would like featured here, or would like us to make one for you, also let us know.

Want more? I am also a host of the podcast  Fandom Access (previously Lost Causes; discussion of pop culture, mostly science fiction) and On the Fringe and cohost of Bionic Angels (currently on hiatus) - and you can call in or join the live chat. Don't miss out, we sometimes get some great guests on our show! The live show are usually on Wednesdays, and the podcast can be listened to any time after that, so please come and join the fun! On the Fringe will return in the fall.

Please note that all articles, reviews, etc. were written by myself, Jamie Ruby, unless otherwise noted.

Don't forget to check out Media Blvd, the online magazine where many of my articles are also published!

If you find any errors on the site, please contact us.
